2014 4chan Autumn Babby Cup

The 2014 4chan Summer Cup was the twelfth official 4chan Cup tournament and the fourth iteration of the Summer Cup series. It was played during three weekends, from July 18 until August 3, 2014. The tournament featured a mixture of teams that qualified from the 2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup, as well as the teams that managed to qualify for the knockout stage of the 2014 4chan Winter Cup.

This was the fifth and >final cup under 4chan Cup commissioner DrBorisG !!9Egy5BjxCDo and the third to be hosted using Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 as a platform. After winning the 2014 4chan Winter Cup, /trv/ was the host board of this competition.

This was the debut Summer Cup for /an/, /asp/, /diy/, /e/, /gd/, /gif/, /hr/, /ic/, /lgbt/, /s4s/, /vg/, and /wsg/.

Thirty-two teams competed at this tournament, sixteen of the teams qualified by means of advancing to the knockout stage of the 2014 4chan Winter Cup, and sixteen qualified by means of advancing from the 2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup.

The groups were drawn randomly, from four pots. Each group contains one team from Pot 1, one team from Pot 2, one team from Pot 3 and one team from Pot 4, forming eight groups each with four teams.

Pot 1 is made up of the top 8 teams from the 2014 4chan Winter Cup (the winners in the Winter Cup Round of 16). Pot 2 is made up of the 9th-16th placed teams from the 2014 Winter Cup (the losers in the Winter Cup Round of 16). Pot 3 is made up of the top 8 teams from the 2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup. Pot 4 is made up of the 9th-16th placed teams from the 2014 Spring Babby Cup.
