With new beginnings comes new hope. In /3/'s case, new beginnings are an excuse to abandon whatever project you were previously working on. After all, true success comes from the heart rather than from an optimized mesh, a good portfolio, or even the ability to draw. I think we're also here to play soccer or something.

2015 4chan Spring Babby Cup: The Uncanny Valley of Despair
Having come so close to a return to their first Elite cup in years, the t/3/apots received further hope as SUPERtwinky !!G5xDaK3GlNe gained a co-manager in Lambert Phong !!reK8B0SNSO8, as well as a new logo designed by the fans (they really do did exist). They would be drawn into Group H with the croc-hunting /an/, their highly aesthetic rivals in /gd/, plane-crashers /tv/, and >/v/.
With the meme 4-1-5 formation ready to go, /3/ would face /gd/ first and ground out a semen-slurping contest for the majority of the game, only to allow Glitch Art to finally break through /3/'s defense and steal all three points for /gd/. /3/ fans expected another long six month stint during the Summer break, but hope was renewed when /3/ surprised all by beating /an/ 4-1. Having witnessed /v/ being at the wrong end of a 6-1 thrashing to /tv/, there was realistic hope of /3/ actually escaping the burning hell of the Babbies...which didn't last long when /v/ held on for a 3-2 victory.
On the final weekend of the group stages, they would meet /tv/, who were also looking for promotion, and completely shit themselves. For the entire match, /3/ went without a single shot and managed to let /tv/ pepper their goalkeeper with shots (twelve, to be exact), and amazingly, they would come away with PES 15's first 0-0 draw. Nazi Janitor's valiant efforts, which included seven saves, were enough for him to be awarded the Man of the Match. Despite /3/ having played all their games and sitting third, there was a very faint chance of promotion, so long as /tv/ lost by at least two goals while /an/ and /v/ drew.
Unfortunately, a ten man /tv/ would steal a 1-0 victory over /gd/, confining /3/ to another six month break.
2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup: The Last Hurrah, For A While
Not long after the end of the group stage, SUPERtwinky !!G5xDaK3GlNe announced his retirement as /3/'s manager, leaving the team in the hands of Lambert Phong !!reK8B0SNSO8 and expecting her IRL issues to not be of any more inconvenience.
They did.
While questions of her existence were asked, SUPERtwinky !!G5xDaK3GlNe would assure his fans that if nobody else stepped up to manage, he would return for one last shot. With the cup looming, it appeared that /3/ were going to decay once and for all. That was, until the cup attracted the attention of one Kupo !!xx0tfEI+ukQ, who made a thread, then stepped up to get verified with days to spare. With the thread voting for new players, a new, refurbished squad was formed, and Kupo somehow got an export ready.
He sent in an edit.bin file and was never heard from again.
However it happened, /3/ got an export which was rife with meme formations and a lack of medals. While it was fixed/nerfed in time for the cup, /3/'s chances of promoting were virtually in the toilet before they even had a chance to play. It would only get worse as the team would have to play managerless, as well as being stuck in Group H with memesters /s4s/, collectors /toy/, the revived /a/, and the Fetus winners /adv/.
/3/ would take on /s4s/ first, and soon found that repeating integers would be their opponents worst enemy as Quads Only made a number of impressive saves throughout the entire match. /s4s/, however, had other plans, and held on for a 1-0 win. They would find potentially easier opposition in /adv/, but a 2-0 victory to the s/adv/irgins virtually sealed /3/'s fate. After losing 2-0 to /a/ and allowing them to 12 point master race their group, /3/ were relegated, winless, goalless, and were on the cusp of damnation.
However, upon seeing /toy/ needing a necessary victory in their fight for promotion, /3/ decided to go out with a bang. Further aggravated by Kregg's mockery of them, they kicked into gear and stunned the viewers by recording an impressive 3-1 victory, knocking /toy/ out and confining them to the upcoming Fetus cup.
2018 4chan Spring Babby Cup: Revival
Two years after their last official matches and having been left for dead to the point where another team used their goalhorn, /3/ managed to do the unthinkable and revive, updating their squad and getting the board interested enough to merit competition as an autopilot. Due to their long absence, the revived /3/'s first matches were in the 2018 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers, against three red boards, one of them revived after their own long absence and two of them totally new to the cup. They won every single one of those matches, shutting out eventually aborted /aco/ 2-0 and coming back twice from 1-0 down to win 2-1 against /gif/ and /bant/ to easily advance to the Megababby proper. Unfortunately, they struggled to get out of the gate in the first two matches with a 0-0 draw to /out/ and 4-2 loss to eventual finalist /soc/. Their third match, against /r9k/, was a 2-2 draw that just barely kept them alive. /r9k/ eventually beat /out/ on the final matchday, eliminating /3/ before their final match. Despite this, /3/ got their biggest win in three and a half years with a 5-0 demolition of /f/, causing the latter to miss their first elite since 2013 while ending /3/'s first cup in two and a half years on a very high note.
2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup: PROMOTIONS
After an unlucky run in Spring, /3/ came back in Autumn ready to go. Due to their position in Spring, /3/ were not forced to play a Qualifier this time, instead going straight to the cup proper. Their group contained fellow small boards /p/, relegated from a 5-5-5-0 group in the previous Elite Cup, and /w/, promoted from the Qualifiers. The group also contained /lit/, the 0 part of /p/'s 5-5-5-0 group. /3/ got off to a strong start against /p/, keeping the match goalless for a half before scoring twice in the span of 20 minutes and icing a dominant 3-1 victory with a late cheeky 90+er. /3/ also scored the first goal against /w/, but ultimately lost the match 2-1, resulting in /w/'s early promotion. Entering the final match of the group stage, all that separated /3/ from their first Elite Cup in 6(six) years was a win against /lit/. That promotion was all but sealed in a third of the match, another dominant performance that saw /3/ score three times in thirty-three minutes. A fourth was added in the second half and with the final score 4-1, /3/ not only promoted, but thanks to /w/ losing the next match, topped the group. Finally, it was done. After three years of suffering as a cup bottom-bitch and nearly three more in the grave, /3/ were elite once again. It almost didn't matter that /3/ lost their Round of 16 match to /his/, because the main objective was complete. Winter was coming, the first of its kind for little old /3/.
2019 4chan Winter Cup: Finally, some Elite fucking Cups
Entering their first Elite Cup since GermanBro actually rigged it, on a PES they had obviously never played on before, /3/ were not the first choice of many as a contender. Despite caretaker MS finally becoming a full-fledged manager and said caretaker's well-known ties to one of the Cup's most successful teams, the road to the top was going to be rough. The group draw did little to encourage outsiders of /3/'s chances; featuring the last Elite's fourth-place team /tg/, a /m/ going back to the PES they'd had their best record since 2012 on, and Autumn Babby champion /pol/, there were eerie similarities to /3/'s last Elite Cup group. Fears of a repeat seemed to be proven completely correct after the first match against /m/, a 3-0 drubbing by /3/'s biggest foil of old. But then, something strange happened. Spurred on by a change in tactics, /3/ raced out to a 3-0 lead against /pol/, with 77 CMF NO >YOUR< PROGRAM SUCKS taking a break from shitposting long enough to score two of the goals. The score was eventually 4-1 at halftime and /pol/'s PES16-induced comeback attempt fell short, securing a 4-3 win. Thanks to their GD, /3/ still needed to win again to stay elite. Doomrider scored the first goal, but /3/ scored all of the next four in a full nine minutes. The match was 5-2 /3/ at halftime and 6-3 /3/ at full time, with the by now infamous shitposting 77 CMF padding out his goalscoring stats. For the first time ever, /3/ were Elite Knockout bound, the unlikeliest of participants given their group's status.
Little did /3/ know that joining them in the knockout round was a familiar enemy: /w/. The same team that had beaten them in Autumn's group stage. This small-market matchup lived up to its billing, or lack thereof, becoming an extremely defensive match where /w/ failed to record a single shot on target and a 50th minute Utah Teapot goal was one of exactly five shots /3/ could muster. Semen-slurping or not, though, /3/ had made an Elite final day on their first try. Their next opponent? ANOTHER familiar foe! /pol/ fared no better in their second matchup against the t/3/apots, with the legendary 77 shitposter coming back to score a goal in 3 minutes and assist another goal as his team won 3-1. The wondrous run seemed to be coming to an end against /s4s/, as they scored the first goal and held a lead into the last 20 minutes, but a >Blender equalizer sent the match to extra time and Utah Teapot won it with an extra time stoppage time goal. A team that was in a grave at this time the previous year was in an Elite final. The opponent was none other than /gd/, a long-time fixture of the Elites who had just broken past the quarterfinals for the first time in their history.
Unfortunately, /3/'s Cinderella story met a quick demise. /gd/ scored first in 20 minutes, and despite >blender coming through to make the match tied at halftime, /gd/ scored two goals in four minutes to make it 3-1. All /3/ could find was an 87th minute consolation, and just like that, /3/'s second-ever deep run ended the exact same way its first did. A lost final. A small consolation was the fact that /3/ won many post-cup awards thanks to their aesthetic prowess and the exploits of NO >YOUR< PROGRAM SUCKS, but even then, the worst habit of /u/ was fully transferred over to /3/. To make things even worse, /3/ died yet again before they could even play in the next Elite Cup; an actually new PES was being used for said cup, and its aesthetic problems caused strong negative reaction from both /3/ fans and management. A new manager, CaptainLykaios, had been appointed between cups, but he disappeared before Summer's deadlines. As of right now, /3/ have went two cups without playing, and only time will tell if this stint in the grave is as long as the last.
