The final, though, was different - a tense and goal-filled game, it saw /dng/ pull ahead twice, the first time /pdg/ had ever been behind, but the heisters managed to equalise both times, following some intelligent changes, though they never pulled ahead. And so, heading into penalties, the stakes were high - sadly too high for Hoxtilicious and Simon Viklund, who, arrested by nerves, both choked their penalties, and so, to the exasperation of /pdg/'s staff and fans, send the team into a second place finish.

| The final, though, was different - a tense and goal-filled game, it saw /dng/ pull ahead twice, the first time /pdg/ had ever been behind, but the heisters managed to equalise both times, following some intelligent changes, though they never pulled ahead. The third /vg/ League was significantly worse performance-wise; despite a strong opening win against eventual worst team in the VGL3 /xcg/ (2-0), /pdg/ went on to lose to familiar opponents /feg/ (2-1) and were nearly eliminated by a late /domg/ surge, though dominance earlier and solid defending late allowed /pdg/ to hold on for a 1-1 draw. /pdg/ - Payday General, the team of the /vg/ mainstay of the same name dedicated to the discussion of the Payday series of heist simulation games, has shown itself to be one of the strongest teams in the league, as proven by its undefeated track record (throughout 7 games from /vg/ Leagues 2-3) and strong finishing placement. Now it's dead.

History
The team's history is stellar; from its creation, it quickly gained another manager with /3/'s R3APER !!UPcKEclOb9n joining the team, and went on to shoot down its competition in the group stage, where it trounced veteran /feg/ in an easy 3-0 breakout match and drilled through the defences of /vitagen/ for a comfortable 1-0 win under the capable command of mission controller R3APER, and followed up with a more hard-earned 2-1 win against the assault of /gsg/, pulling through a period of rusing and trickery among the management with QinTheWise !!FRIAQNig8Tn heading the team.
Moving out from the groups as a member of the nine points master race with a free bye, the team proceeded to not concede a single goal until the final, with its convincing 2-0 display against /acg/, where dallis pls and Simon Viklund scored six minutes apart from each other to ensure that the prize was in the bag, and its hunkering down against /mgg/ to clinch a 1-0 win both further demonstrating its strength as a side.
