4CC and /vg/ League are moving PES'. It's the best of both worlds for Akko League V!

*New Managers and Veteran Managers that aren't doing hot encouraged to sign up. If you've got no experience with PES before 19 then you're accepted too.

*Live Management highly encouraged but not required all days. Livmanagers take higher prio if slots fill up. Pastebins also accepted. Autos get lowest prio but can still sign up.

Sign Up with any team you wish. If you do wish to use a 4cc/vgl/vtl (or invitational team that isnt yours) then you should get permission from the respective league first.

16 teams competing in the /vg/ League ruleset. If none is decided then fug guess we'll use whats most up to date and slap it on PES 17 too.

If we don't have enough teams to fill either then fuck i'll think of something expect the page to be changed around if that happens. Check back regularly for updates. To be streamed by streamed by ChickenTendies and whoever wants a go at streaming.

UPDATE 1: It seems /vg/League slots have filled! If we reach 16 /vg/ League Signups then I suppose we can dump the 4CC and just make it purely one league instead of 2. If not then it's the same as above.
UPDATE 2: Looks like we've got 16 teams in the /vg/League Format! Maybe 9 matches a day will happen if we're madlad enough so signups are still accepted though don't be surprised if you don't get in ~~unless we kill /offtopic/~~

Format

Sixteen teams will compete on this tournament. The 16 teams will go through 4 rounds of matches in order to determine the 4 teams that will directly advance to a single elimination knockout stage, the 4 teams that will seed the second round of playoffs, and the 8 teams that will take part on the first round of playoffs.

Swiss Group

Each round of matches is drawn based on the teams' position in the standings except for the first round, where a live draw will arrange the matches. The group will feature increasingly fairer matches due to each team being paired with teams closer to their own level after each round. If two teams were to be drawn together twice, each one of them will be given a different opponent. The opponent will be the closest team in the standings that is available.

Playoffs

Once the 4 rounds of matches are done, the Top 4 in the standings will seed the knockout bracket, while teams placed 5th to 8th seed the second round of playoffs. The remaining 8 teams placed 9th to 16th will face eachother in the first round of playoffs, in which the winner of each match will face the teams who directly qualified to the second round. Finally, the winner of each second round match will qualify to the knockout stage.

Knockouts

The knockout stage will be composed of 8 teams, 4 that directly qualified from the swiss group and 4 that qualified through playoffs. Each round consists of the usual Quarterfinals, Semifinals, 3rd Place and Final matches.

Tie-breaking

If two or more teams were to have an equal amount of points in the standings at any point of the Swiss Group, the Buscholz Score will be the first stat to be considered for tie-breaking. The Buscholz Score consists on adding the scores of every opponent each team has faced up to that point. The team with the highest Buscholz Score will be considered to be the one that has faced the toughest opposition and will be awarded the highest place in the standings. If the Buscholz Scores are equal, then the usual GD, GF, W and Name tie-breaking format will be used.
