Description

Formed in 1999. Sabaton didn't gain any identity until 2005, with the release of their second album Primo Victoria. The release of Primo Victoria made the band decide that it should focus on historical themes from then on. In 2006, Sabaton released their third album titled Attero Dominatus and in 2007 the band released their first album (it took a while). The fourth album, Art of War, is based off of the 13 chapters of the book of the same name. The fifth album, Coat of Arms, released in 2010. The sixth album was released in 2012 and focused on the rise and fall of the Swedish Empire with the focus on the Rise with Gustavus Adolphus and ending with the death of Calorus Rex. In 2014, the band released their seventh album, Heroes, which focused on heroic individuals during the Second World War. The eighth album, The Last Stand, focused on historical last stands such as the Battle of Thermopylae. The ninth, and final album so far, is The Great War. As the name suggests it focuses on happenings in World War 1. The album ends on a rendition of the famous WW1 poem "In Flanders Fields". Now, 23 of the songs shall feature on the pitch for a up-coming league and shall try and do decently.
