Hailing from the board for all things outdoors and comprised of a menagerie of icons from scouting legends and environmental mascots to Swiss Army Knives, these intrepid outdoorsmen have set up camp at the 4chan Cup after a spate of managerial troubles and absences. With new leadership guiding their expedition, they aim to prove their worth to the 4CCC with gusto. Undeterred by the competition, they look to defy the odds and hike, hunt and backpack their way to victory, proving to their foes that it pays to Be Prepared.

History
Autumn 2013 Qualifiers - Founding
Founded in the spring of 2013 during the Fifth Founding, the sc/out/s' first appearance in an official match would be during the 2013 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers, trying to secure their spot in the Babby Cup. /out/ started well enough, coming back from being behind 0-1 and beating /vp/ 2-1. In the next match, the /out/doorsmen tried a similar, more impressive feat, but fell short after the full 90 minutes of play, losing to /s/ 3-2, after behing behind 3-0. In the third match, /out/ started the match well, for the first time in their short careers, going into half time up 0-1 against /asp/, a team also newly founded. However it was not meant to be, as after an exciting second half the game ended 2-2, due to an own goal by Pic-A-Nic Basket in the 57th minute.
/out/ then played /an/, a team seeming to be in top form, having beaten /s/ and drawing against /asp/. After a 90 minute struggle the match concluded in a 0-0 score, with /an/ having all the best stats for the game. While /out/ had completed their four matches of the group stage, direct rival /asp/ still had two matches to play, holding /out/'s life in their hands. Those hands proved to be too capable to keep /out/ in the tournament, as /asp/'s goal difference was what decided the standings in favour of /asp/. The first tournament ended for /out/, having played a decent tournament for a newly formed team. Things could only go up from here.
Spring 2014 - Babby debut
After the cancelled qualifiers for the 2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup, /out/ were given free entry into their first babby cup, placed in a tough group with /lbgt/, /b/, /hm/ and /fa/. The sc/out/s were out for blood though, determined to prove themselves to the community as a team that could qualify in a major tournament. /out/ played in the first match of the group, facing relegated team /b/, one of the favourites to win the group. With a team in mixed form against against the experienced team that /b/ was, the challenged proved to much for the boys as they lost 3-1, in a game that was never actually close.
After this loss there was light at the end of the tunnel of bad results however, as /out/ would face /hm/, a team also given a free pass after the cancelled qualifiers. /hm/ had been absent for a year following the Dragongate incident, after having a decent but illegitimate run in the 2013 4chan Winter Cup. Sadly, /out/ once again could not make a dent in a pack of butter, losing to the likes of Zayn Malik and David Beckham 0-2. Next up were the wannabe Handsome Men of /fa/, a team that had not competed in the major tournament after being the runner up of last Babby Cup. While everyone expected the sc/out/s to once again take a beating, they actually almost managed to win, as /fa/ only scored the equalizer in the stoppage time of the second half. Even though this result was, as was customary, a disappointment, the team showed the final two opponents that they were not to be underestimated.
Still not being done taking whippings from faggots, the last hurdle to be jumped was /lgbt/, back in the babbies after an abominable run during Winter 2014. After conceding an early goal the /lgbt/ defense proved to be in shape, standing firm against the beatings the sweaty rugged men of /out/ tried to give them. The match ended uneventfully in a 0-1 score favouring /lgbt/. This disappointing group run saw /out/ finish comfortably in last place, having scored only two goals in four matches.
Autumn 2014 - Miracles do happen
Because of the terrible results /out/ had in the previous tournament they played in, they would be matched up in the 2014 4chan Autumn Babby Cup with four teams that were better than them on paper. After what the boysc/out/s had previously shown against opponents of this caliber, the hopes for this tournament were not very high. Still, after having existed for more than a year now, it would finally be time to climb the ladder of succes towards that coveted Winter Cup placement. The draw proved to be a relatively advantagious one, being placed in a group alongside /n/, /ck/, /a/ and /r9k/.
First up was the match against the heretics of /n/, who preferred travelling by train or airplane rather than a good old hike. /n/ had shown lackluster performances in the previous Babby Cup, so they were a team that might be able to lose to /out/, if the weather conditions weren't good enough for the spoiled brats. Sadly our beloved /out/doorsmen weren't able to put up a fight and got absolutely wrecked 4-0. Even though this big a loss wasn't in the line of expectations, the fans were not yet hopeless as they now faced a foe that had shown only mediocre results in previous cups. /r9k/ hadn't competed in a major Cup for over a year, their last attendance being before /out/'s first ever match. This match also had sub-par results however, with /out/ once again scoring no goals. The match ended in an unspectacular 0-1 in favour of the Robots of /r9k/.
The two remaining teams, /a/ and /ck/, had been relegated after bad results during the 2014 4chan Summer Cup and were therefore both forces to be reckoned with, especially for a team that was possibly the worst team to ever actively compete in the cups. On Halloween our boys told scary tales in the moonlight together with the we/a/boos, but both teams were equally scared and no winner emerged from this exchange. The taletellers managed to scare the other side only once each, and the night concluded with a 1-1 score against a squad that was expected to be the clear winner. Although the sc/out/s that had performed so admirably during last match couldn't reach the knock-out stage anymore, the battle for second-last could still be won if a miracle occured. The spirits were high in the base camp, as it was All Souls' Day, which would prove to be a truly divine day indeed.
After only 2 (two) minutes Ranger Smith managed to score a goal, and things would only get better from there. While the rest of the first half didn't see any more goals, the fact that /out/ was in the lead was a surprise for fans of all boards, not least of which the sc/out/s themselves. In the second half, Smokey the Bear would establish himself truly as an /out/ legend, scoring the first hattrick in /out/ history with goals in the 51st, 69th and 81st minute. This hattrick is still one of only two times the Rangers have shown such a feat. The /out/doorsmen conceded only one measly goal by /ck/, and the match ended 4-1, the biggest win /out/ had seen in it's short history, and the first win since their very first official match, where they beat /vp/ 2-1. The win also meant the sc/out/s beat /r9k/ to fourth place in the group.
Spring 2015 - Good seeding, bad harvest
In the 2015 4chan Spring Babby Cup, /out/ was, for the first time ever, not bottom seed. Placed in pot 3, this tournament showed enormous potential for an advancement to the knock-out stage, which would finally bring /out/ to where they belong; the real cups. The draw for this tournament could barely be better, being grouped with two teams even lower on the ranking than the sc/out/s. The group consisted /out/, /vp/, /x/, /r9k/ and /fit/.
The first match played by /out/ was against /vp/, one of the two teams they ever beat in an official match, but also one of the teams relegated from the previous Winter Cup. The game proved once again to be too much for our Rangers, and at half time /vp/ was already up 3-0. In the 54th minute /out/ managed to score a goal, but it would only prove to be a Tackle against the Focus Punch that /vp/ had prepared, as they scored two more goals before the end of the match, resulting in a whopping 5-1 score in favour of the /vp/ squad. The next opponent was /x/, on paper the strongest team in the group. Sadly, they did indeed prove too much of a challenge for the /out/ team, beating them 2-0 in a fairly standard match.
With two losses already added to the record, the previously overgrown road to the knock-out stage was clearing up, as /out/ only had to face the teams that were ranked lower than they were. /fit/ was the first of these challenges, and although they said we were all gonna make it, brah, their muscly bodies and shrivelled balls were too much for the tired /out/doorsmen, and with /fit/ scoring the only goal of the match they lost 1-0. Once more /out/ had already lost sight of a place in the round of 16, but with a huge win over the last opponent they could still avoid finishing in last place. Half a year before /out/ managed to beat /r9k/ to this precious spot, but this time it was a much more precarious situation. As if /out/ knew it was a high mountain to climb on a snowy day, the team let /r9k/ score two goals before scoring only one of their own, not even being saved by the most dangerous lead. The tournament was over for /out/ with all four matches lost, a new low.
Autumn 2015 Qualifiers - The rise to the top begins
Following the terrible peformance /out/ showed in the Spring Babby cup, they now had to play in the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers. In a tournament that consisted of four teams, selected on the basis of having a tiny or nonexistent fanbase, /out/ would have to finish top three to qualify for the next Babby Cup. The task was to not come in last in a group with /adv/, /diy/ and /t/, a challenge that /out/ was willing to accept.
Unwilling to postpone the first match, one /out/ intended to win, the sc/out/s marched on the field to face /t/, a young team that hadn't yet had any impressive results, not unlike /out/. However, /t/ was in a whole other league of weakness as /out/ demolished them, Want Some Chips? scoring the second hattrick in /out/ history in the process. After the match had concluded the score was 4-1 in favour of /out/. The next match would be against /adv/, a team with a much better record than /out/. After an early goal by /adv/, /out/ scored the equalizer in the second half but could not defend against the waves of attack from /adv/, eventually losing 2-1. The last match would be played against /diy/, a team that had played in the previous Summer Cup but failed to qualify directly for the Autumn Babby Cup. Both /diy/ and /out/ having already qualified for the Babby Cup, the match was nothing but a stat booster for both teams, and /out/ came out on top beating /diy/ 1-3.
Autumn 2015 - Atop Mt. Katahdin
After being qualified for the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup following the preceding qualifiers, /out/ was placed in the lowest seeding pot, expecting a very tough draw against teams much stronger than them. It all worked out differently. /out/ was placed in a group alongside /fit/, /x/, /biz/ and /gif/, two of which were lower in the ranking than /out/. This draw meant that /out/ should statistically come in third, but with an upset over a better team could possibly come in second and for the first time ever reach the next stage in a tournament.
The first match of the tournament for /out/ was against /biz/, one of the weaker teams in the group. /out/ scored two early goals, but /biz/ came back to a 2-2 score after the first half. The second half seemed to be perfectly in balance, but in stoppage time, when all fans had already accepted a draw, Alex Supertramp scored a goal for /out/, securing the win with a score of 2-3. The second match would be against /gif/, the other weak team in the group. To have a realistic chance to advance to the next round /out/ had to win the match, and win it they did. After an early shock goal from /gif/ the sc/out/s completely outclassed the opponents, scoring three goals over the course of the match for a 3-1 win.
Because /fit/ had won all its matches up to that point, they were already safe. The battle for second place raged on however between /x/ and our /out/doorsmen, the two teams that would have a standoff the next match. In this all-important match, /out/ once again conceded the first goal, and for a while it seemed /x/ would take the win. However, in /out/'s beloved second half the team once again scored enough goals to secure the win, and with that the advancement into the next round, beating /x/ 1-2. The last game, against the juggernauts and clear favourites of /fit/, was nothing but a battle for first place. In an underwhelming match between two teams that had scored many goals each, /fit/ took first place with a 0-1 win.
/out/ having set off into the unexplored territory of the knock-out stages, equipped with a GPS and a Mora knife, the first team they would have to beat was /vp/. The opponents, that had a history of promotions and relegations and had won their group, were the favoured side in this match. /out/ was not having it however, scoring two early goals and one more in the second half, with /vp/ unable to do anything back. After years of bad results, /out/ was now in the quarter-finals of a cup following a 0-3 win over /vp/. As the rounds went on, /out/ was naturally matched up against better opponents, and /wg/ fit that description. A team having played in the two preceding major Cups and having won their group, /wg/ was a force to be reckoned with in this tournament. /out/ remained in top form though, and kept the dream alive by scoring four goals and only conceding one, making the final score 1-4 in favour of the /out/doorsmen.
The next opponent, /an/, was another team that showed a surprisingly good run during this tournament, and had performed a truly scary feat in the quarter-finals beating /fit/ with a whopping 1-7. /out/, already being satisfied with the results so far, were still hungry for more and were most certainly looking to put up a fight. After an uneventful first half, the second half took a while to heat up but /out/ chopped through the /an/ defense and shot their keeper with the precision of a hunting rifle, scoring twice in the final phase of the match. /out/ was through to the finals in their first decent tournament, after beating /an/ 2-0. The final against /int/ went off to a good start, the sc/out/s scoring twice in the opening phase of the match. However, in the final minutes of the first half /int/ came back and Putin made the equalizer with the goal of the tournament in stoppage time. The second half was less spectacular, but not less succesful, as /out/ scored the only goal of the half setting the final score at 2-3.
History had been made, /out/ had performed a miracle and won a tournament against all odds. This was a tournament of many firsts and the next tournament, the first real Cup /out/ would play, would be one as well. Because of this amazing performance by the sc/out/s, the team got multiple team awards, being the Team of the tournament, the Most improved team, the Underdog/surprise of the tournament, and /out/back Jack winning the award for best manager. The team had finally shown after two years that they were more than a team at the bottom of every list, and would try to put up a fight in their first big Cup.
Winter 2016 - Playing with the big boys now
As the winners of the last cup, /out/ was now for the first time in one of the big leagues, competing in the 2016 4chan Winter Cup. The goal for the team was reaching the round of 16, so the team would not be relegated back to the feared babbies. Placed in pot three during the draw, /out/ had little luck, being placed in a group together with two top 10 ranked teams, /b/ and /ck/. The group was completed by /a/, an opponent more of /out/'s caliber historically. In the tense match against /b/ that kicked off the group, /out/ struggled but eventually came out on top thanks to a late goal, winning 2-3.
The next match was expected to be a breeze, facing the worst team of the group, /a/. The sc/out/s scored a very quick goal, but right before le toucan blew the wistle indicating half time /a/ scored the equalizer. /out/ did not lose hope because of this, and managed to score two more goals in the second half, beating /a/ 3-1, a result that was well expected. The last match of the group stage would decide who would take first place and get the most advantageous placement in the knock-out phase, /out/ or /ck/. The /out/doorsmen once again took the lead in the first half, but lost it after almost an hour of play. /out/ once again got away with the win thanks to a goal in the closing minutes of the match, however, and took home the three points to secure the group win, beating /ck/ 2-1.
Thanks to this win, /out/ drew /wsg/ in the knock-out phase, a team that had recently been eliminated from the Autumn Babbies in the round of 16. On paper this should be a fairly certain win for /out/, but the gods decided they would have some fun with the match and didn't let it pass quickly. After 90 minutes of play, /out/ was behind 1-2 and were only an inch away from elimination, but Want Some Chips once again scored late in the match, the score being brought to 2-2 in stoppage time. Both teams managed to score once during overtime, but in a tense penalty shootout /out/ finally beat /wsg/, winning the shootout 8-7, after a 3-3 overtime score. The quarter-finals were almost equally as intense, as /out/ faced /gd/ and took the game to overtime once more, after being tied 3-3 after 90 minutes of play. In the extra time, /out/ proved to be the more durable team, as they scored the winning goal in the 120th minute, securing a place in the semi-finals.
/out/ was to beat /fit/ to reach the final match of the tournament, possibly completing the biggest upward surge ever seen in the 4chan cup history, and a win in this cup would be the cherry on the pie. Looking at the history between the two teams though, /fit/ was the clear favourite, having won both their previous matches, the last of which during the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup. The match started terrifically, but it all went downhill. After being 0-2 up, /fit/ came back to a 3-2 lead before the end of the first half, and in the second half added insult to injury by scoring another goal, making the final score 4-2. /out/ was out of the race for gold, but could still get third place in a match against /mu/. The /mu/sicians had competed since the birth of the 4chan cup, always having been a consistently decent team, having competed in all major cups. In this match between the old Goliath and the young sensation David, both teams would give their all to lay their hands on that bronze plaque. /mu/ took the lead early on in the game, but /out/ managed to get equal after little more than 20 minutes. /mu/ would not give up though, and scored another goal in stoppage time. The half thus ended in a 2-1 score favouring /mu/. /out/ proved it wasn't over yet, equalizing the score early in the second half, and even took a commanding lead with only 20 minutes left, scoring two more goals. As the minutes went by, /mu/'s situation became more and more desperate, and finally in the 94th minute they managed to do something back, but it was not enough. /out/ won the match 3-4 and took home the bronze medal, only a few months after winning their first Babby Cup.
Even though /fit/ eventually won the tournament, after beating /u/ following overtime, many fans of all teams saw /out/ as the true winner of the tournament, and this was reflected in the various team awards the sc/out/s won. The team were once again elected the Most improved team and the Underdog/surprise of the tournament, winning both awards twice in a row, and also won the Best music award, for the use of the Proclaimers' 500 Miles. As if these awards and the bronze medal weren't yet enough, /out/ also took first place in the team Ranking, thanks to their 20th place before starting the tournament.
Summer 2016 - JUST
Now that /out/ built up a reputation, it was time to see if they could keep up the great performances in the 2016 4chan Summer Cup. Due to the excellent results achieved in the previous two cups the Sc/out/s had performed in, the hopes for a repeat of recent history. Placed in pot 1 for the draw, and being on top of the ranking, /out/ was the favourite whatever the draw resulted in. From pot 2, their mightiest opponents of the tournament were /d/, a team that had had meddling results in their past, but most recently had only lost closely to the eventual runner up of the 2016 Winter Cup. The second drawn opponent was /sp/, a team that had fallen from greatness years ago and struggled to get into the big leagues. The final opponent would be /vp/, a team near the caliber of what /out/ used to be when they were still in the gutter.
The team started off looking as strong and aggressive as they were in the previous cup when facing /sp/. The "GOATs" were defeated 3-2 with Mora Batoning's 77th minute goal getting /out/ the victory. This proved to be the highlight of the tournament for the rugged outdoorsmen. In a match that was originally written off as >PES being PES, /out/ got defeated 2-0 by the /d/eviants. While being as aggressive as ever, strangely no goals were scored by the sc/out/s. The next, all-deciding match against /vp/ proved to the world that /out/ had only experienced a momentary rise to greatness, and demonstrated once more that holding the top spot is harder than getting there. In what can be described as a catastrophic match, the outdoorsmen held their ground fairly well in the first half, with the score at half time being only 3-2 in favour of /vp/. It was all downhill from there. The apparently tired /out/ players could not penetrate the /vp/ defense any longer while still being barraged by goals themselves, resulting in a 6-2 blowout in favour of /vp/, the worst result for the sc/out/s since their loss to, who else, /vp/ in the 2015 Spring Babby Cup.
Autumn 2016 - Never gonna keep me down
After the humiliating defeat the sc/out/s suffered in what should have been the tournament to consolidate their place near the top of the food chain, /out/ were back in the little leagues, competing in the 2016 4chan Autumn Babby Cup. As the highest rated team competing in the tournament, /out/ were technically the favourites to win the cup, although due to their last place in the group stage of the previous Summer cup, they were placed in pot 2 of the draw, thus still facing decent opponents. Drawing /a/ as their opponent from pot 1, the sc/out/s would be in the same group as the second highest ranked team competing in the cup, although in the previous two matches between the two teams, /out/ had never lost. The group was filled up with /jp/ and /po/, two of the worst teams in the cup, who both had been in the babbies or their qualifiers since Winter 2015. This group draw, although containing one worthy opponent, pointed towards /out/ at least making it out the group and thus promoting to the big leagues again.
Kicking off the tournament against the lowest rated team in the group, /po/, who had won the qualifier for this tournament, /out/ was expected to pull off a fairly easy win, and the match started out well enough. Getting in the lead in the 33th minute due to a goal by Want Some Chips, /out/ almost wasted their halftime lead by conceding a goal in the last minute but scoring one in stoppage time, leading to a 2-1 halftime score. Extending their lead to 3-1 in the 71st minute, the match seemed in the pocket for the boysc/out/s, but the /po/opers hadn't quite given up yet, scoring two goals in quick succession evening out the score at 3-3 going into the last few minutes of playing time. As the game neared its end, the situation for /out/ had become dire, as they needed all the points against weak teams they could get, but luckily Want Some Chips scored his third goal in the match in the fifth minute of stoppage and securing the win at 4-3. The second group stage match would be played against /a/, usually a good team, who had lost their opening match to /jp/ 0-2. In what was to be the titans of the group, /a/ gained an early lead against a weak looking squad of outdoorsmen, but /out/ rounded up the troops and launched a long offensive against the weebs of /a/, scoring three times spread out over the match and conceding nothing, ending the match with a relatively easy 1-3 win. The last match of the round was that against /jp/, who had previously lost to /po/, but could still advance to the next stage with a good result. /out/ seemed to stop these plans from coming into fruition though, gaining a 2-0 lead after 55 minutes of play. /jp/ wasn't that easy to beat however, and they came back to 2-2 in the final stretch of the group phase, securing a draw and the second place in the group, behind the sc/out/s.
In the round of 16 /out/ were to play /int/, a team that had barely escaped group H with a second place finish. Starting out badly, /out/ quickly ceded a goal and were behind 0-1 after merely 18 minutes. Luckily, the outdoorsmen quickly came back to 1-1 due to a goal by Innawoods, and even gained a lead early in the second half. An easy win was not in the cards for /out/ though, as /int/ brought the score back to 2-2 and held this position for the rest of regular playing time. In the extra time, /int/ continued their barrage and scored an early goal, gaining lead once again. This meant things were looking desperate for the sc/out/s, but they didn't give up and scored two more times in the final 20 minutes of the match, securing a hard-fought 4-3 win after extra time. After this narrow entry into the quarterfinals, /out/ drew the team they hadn't managed to beat in the group phase, playing /jp/ once more in the knock-out phase of the tournament. Starting out well once more, /out/ took an early lead and hung onto it for another 40 minutes, after which /out/ conceded a goal, resulting in a 1-1 scoreline after almost an hour. As the match drew to a close, /out/ saw an opening and scored what was to be the winning goal of the match in the 89th minute, but 6 minutes later, 5 minutes into stoppage time, /jp/ once again scored to secure a 2-2 draw in regular playing time, leading to more overtime for /out/. This time, however, the outdoorsmen couldn't clinch the win and conceded one more goal, losing to /jp/ 3-2 and being kicked out of the tournament, left to prepare for another elite cup in the winter of 2017.
Winter 2017 - Come down from the mountain
In the wake of their respectable finish in Autumn, the stage was set for /out/ to stake a claim in another Winter tournament. Placed in Group F, their adversaries were mostly familiar - along with /h/, the outdoorsmen found themselves drawn alongside /adv/, the only team to beat them in the 2015 Autumn Qualifiers, and their enduring rival /fit/. /out/ found itself in the company of daunting adversaries, and technical issues compounded the problem further. Despite this, the team soldiered into Winter, as equipped as they could possibly be.
Their initial skirmish against /adv/ did not fare well. Despite opting for their patented Preset 2 Wing It tactic, their opponents were having none of it as Suicide was quick to earn his team a brace and make the situation troublesome. /out/'s strikers found themselves struggling to make room and roughness abounded, with three of their players - Mora Batoning and Gransfors Bruks among them - earning cards for their transgressions. Some late offensive finagling let Smokey get his name on the board for the team off of Mora, but ultimately the game ended 2-1, a mirror of their result in the qualifiers.
Owing to this early loss a win was vital, and they were coming up against a storied team in /h/. Neither had faced each other in capacity before, but both teams were quick to make an impression. Liru, /h/'s frontman who netted them a crucial draw in the preceding game against /fit/, was first to strike, but Gransfors was quick to retaliate with a header of his own. The back and forth continued, with Liru netting a brace and Smokey notching up another goal as random /out/ players demonstrated karate skills, and it was Bruks who broke the deadlock off his own brace. With twelve minutes remaining the line held, and /out/ clung to their slim lead with determination. Their efforts were not without consequences, however, for a crucial infraction on Mora's behalf led to the winger receiving his second yellow and thus being barred from the next game. With the standings at 4-3-2-1, they were kept afloat - but an old foe waited ahead.
/out/ and /fit/ had met three times before, each time resulting in a victory for the wayfaring weightlifters. They were the final obstacle to /out/'s passage to the knockouts and their ascension to Summer '17. With how the points were distributed even a draw would have been sufficient to put them through - but almost from the opening whistle, the 2016 Winter champions were set on disabusing the scouts of such notions. In a flaccid offensive display, /out/ could only slowly crumble as /fit/ brutally dismantled their defence, tactical changes having no effect on their onslaught. Deprived of a medal and with Scooby netting a hat trick in the process, /out/ was sent spiralling out of the cup on a 5-0 loss, their worst in their history.
Having advancement snatched away so close was a harsh blow, but nonetheless the players of /out/ find themselves back in familiar territory and their first Spring Babby Cup since 2015. They can only resolve to be prepared, as is their motto, as they look to fight once again for the right to stay in the big leagues.
Spring 2017 - The end
After the disappointing result in the winter of 2017, /out/ would have to go to a babby cup once more as they looked to qualify for the next elite cup, which they had gotten used to competing in. Placed in a group with the relatively strong /g/ and /w/, and /a/, who had just promoted from the fetus stage, /out/ would face a considerable challenge even making it out of the group stage. /out/ got to ease into the tournament against /a/ though, which proved to be a challenge of itself as /out/ conceded an early goal. As the match went on and the players got back onto the pitch after halftime, /out/ got a solid grip on the match with three goals in quick succession, thus securing a solid lead. Although /a/ scored a late goal it proved to be enough for the sc/out/s to win the first match 3-2. The next match, against /w/, started out even worse with a goal for the opponents in just the third minute of the match. This time /out/ managed to equalize it shortly afterwards though, and near the blowing of the final whistle /out/ finally took the lead and didn't give it away for the rest of the match, securing a 1-2 win over /w/.
Already having secured a place in the knock-out stage of the tournament, the outdoorsmen still had a match to play against /g/, competing for first place in the group and thus better seeding for the next round. This time starting out fantastically, /out/ took an early 2-0 lead but it proved to be too little as Install Gentoo scored a hat trick beating the outdoorsmen to their knees, having to give the three points and coveted first place to /g/ following a 2-3 loss. Still having secured the second place in the group /out/ secured their promotion to the higher echelons of 4chan football, but after their mediocre results in the previous cup the manager, players and fans wanted more. Playing /an/ in the round of 16 in their jungle-themed stadium, a ground that should inspire greatness in the sc/out/s, it proved to be too high a mountain to climb. /an/ scored two goals within the first half our of the bout, and the rest of the match slowly fizzled out into a deception for /out/ as all they managed to get were some yellow cards.
The tournament having ended, /out/ would now look forward to playing in the summer cup. However, even that was not to be as the 4chan cup committee decided it was one of four teams with too little support from their board and the sc/out/s got culled alongside /t/, /p/ and /adv/. This does not mean the sc/out/s cannot return, however, as the committee has given the board a chance to show support for their team, after which /out/ would be allowed to compete in the next autumn babby cup. After these announcements had been made, longtime manager and winner of the Best Manager award in autumn 2015 /out/back Jack, who had lead the team from an insignificant blip on the radar to a babby cup winner and elite cup medalist, stepped down from his position, leaving the revival and management of the team to Superzak.

Trivia
- /out/'s exit in the 2013 Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers was the source of some controversy. In their match against /asp/, /out/ conceded a ridiculous own goal caused by >ProActive AI that ended up costing them a win. The very same /asp/ would go on to get a strong 4-1 win against /vp/, but the issue with that win was that 3 of /asp/'s goals came in very early in the match while Germanbro still hadn't set the correct tactics for the w/asp/s. In other words, /out/ was basically rigged out of a chance to play in the 2013 Autumn Babby Cup.
- Since the move to PES 2014, /out/ never participated in official friendlies again, and did not win a match until November 2, 2014 (over 1 year since their last win).
- /out/ (and /wg/) are the only teams to ever have a player score a goal and an own goal in the same match.
