Team History
A Less than Extreme Debut (Autumn 2021)
After the sudden and jarring split of /asp/ in twain, /xs/ was left in limbo. /pw/ had taken the lions share of of the former /asp/ roster, and this left /xs/ out in the cold. However, support from the patrons of the fledgling board allowed /xs/ a chance to breathe, and take part in Autumn 2021. Whilst the team was assembled at the 11th hour, this was at least a chance for them to prove they could hang.
The first match this new /xs/ team ran into was the newly invigorated team that was 
/k/. As the sounds of Superman rang out over the Battleship Bismarck, the newest kids on the block lined up in their black and red kits, and prepared for their introduction into the cup. Some poor attacks and lethargy that may have been attributed to nerves caused /xs/ to not have much in the way of early opportunities. /k/ had no problems piercing /xs/'s defence however, and they were up 1-0 at the 13th minute. Some skater guy decided to try and score (who?), but he was shut down by some airshitter mad about his burnt patch drawing a foul. He Burnt My Patch then decided to take a very decent shot that ended up drawing a hand from the Murder/k/ube. A short corner was taken, and that skater man from before decided to try and land /xs/'s first goal, but it ended up colliding with the top right corner of the bar. After a couple of weak attempts from a kinda weird nudist, it was half-time. Although /xs/ continued to attack, there was no conversion, and a scary attack from both Simo and Zergface was defused simply due to a lucky deflection off of Fuck Vail's ass. A couple of weak attacks by /xs/ were not enough against the Finnish assault, as /k/ went up 2-0 after a Simo Sharpshoot into the top left of the net. Unfortunately for /xs/, the rest of the match did not bode much better, as any attempt to attack was smothered by the /k/ defence, and the dagger was sunk at the 82nd minute by /k/ 's Zergface. On this occasion, real guns had won over the /xs/ crew.
After the loss to the /k/ommandos, /xs/ were desperate to write their name in the records as a winner. However, they would have to try and go through the Wiseguys of 
/wsg/ to be able to secure this. Hungry to secure their first win, the /xs/tremists fended off an ambitious Duane shot at the 5th minute before play settled down. After a promising build-up play, /xs/ sank a free kick right to the hands of Get Out. But, after a couple of counter-attacks from each side, Big Man Tyrone laughed at the /xs/ fans for 100 eons, and sank the opener at the 31st minute. After some midfield play, /xs/ finally decided to send the ball to Pipebomb, who had an open lane for some skater dude I guess and /xs/ equalized at the 43rd minute (to the delight of THPS3&4 fans everywhere). At half time, however, the unsung hero was the substitue GK Hakuho, who had saved an impressive 4 shots.
