After regrouping and tinkering out the nerves, /y/ managed a 90+ victory over /toy/ thanks to a late Gerudo Link goal. With only /i/ standing in their way to the knock-outs, /y/ played some of the best football they had ever played in a Elite cup, with a 4-2 win and a Yaranaika Hat-Trick, the first ever for /y/.

With new found support, they played against /out/ with a combination of a defensive master class and a buttload of luck to hold a 0-0 draw. It also helped having Denied Pleasure and Fujo's carry the team in their first penalty shootout to a win, making it to the final 8. Sadly, /y/ played eventual cup winners /biz/, and were quickly humbled with a 5-1 loss. They were the last anime team to be eliminated from the tournament.

With trap-tricks, ref-ball, super-sub out of position goalkeepers and 1-1 passing, /y/ played some of the most odd, awkward and fun football to date. Carrying that momentun, they managed to keep current babby champion /vg/ at bay with a tie, makeing /y/ stay elite once more. Sadly, the team used all is energy and spirit in the group stages, and once again fell to /biz/ in the knock-outs after a gutsy 3-1 effort.

After winning against /vr/ with out of position defenders and strikers, /y/ dominated rivals /cm/ with a Traps brace. Their last cup game against /co/ became one of the most entertaining matches of the cup, thanks to a Goal of the tournament equalizer at the death, by the veteran Yee Haa! Left Back Sea turtle, /y/ was rewarded with a draw and topping the group.  Sadly, once again /y/ used all its charm and power in the group stage, and were tightly put away by /c/ in the knockouts.
 
/y/ is currently the fifth best anime team,  With a well deserved 6 months break until Summer, /y/ looks to make their next elite cup campaign another one to remember.

Introduction

/y/, the darkest corner of 4chan to many, home to 16 year old girls and middle aged men to others. To regulars, it's Yaoi, hot, cute drawn men. Oh, and they're all fucking each other. /y/ is looking to violate the 4 Chan cup in ways that can only be comprehended by sick fucks.

Home to the famous >Gold Defender, /y/ plays with a "all or nothing" approach, which leads to some of the most entertaining football to watch in the cup. Current manager Sleep Deprived Anon has shown that the team has the ability to play in a "unique" and flexible matter, leading to all kinds of strange football being played. With star players such as Denied Pleasure, Kawaii Neko ~*~ and Traps, /y/ attacks from risky through balls and long shots at goal while relying on solid 1-2 defending and expert goal keeping.

Finally, after 5 long years, /y/ had promoted to a elite cup in one of the most entertain-able ways possible. However, the 2019 Summer Cup showed /y/ fans how tough it really is to play with the big boys, and were quickly relegated. Recently, /y/ has had the brilliant idea of actually playing with medal strikers, as well as leading the way with a 5 man defence. After a better then "Yep, It's /y/" standard at the Mega Cup, fans hoped it would not be another 5 long years to be back at the top of the mountain.

After losing the first 2 matches in the group stage of the 2021 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, /y/ were able to rally and play some of the best football they have ever produced, escaping the babby with blowout wins against /aco/ and /ck/. Amazingly, /y/ did one better knocking out cup favorites /k/ thanks to a last minute strike from Gerudo Link. Sadly, their miracle cup run was undone by eventual 3rd place trophy winners /w/. With new found confidence and a playing style that is taking the cup by storm, /y/ went into the 2022 4chan Winter Cup with hopeful ambitions.

After a shaky start and a cold awakening of what happens in a Elite tournament, /y/ lost their first game against /m/ in a close knit game. After regrouping and tinkering out the nerves, /y/ managed a 90+ victory over /toy/ thanks to a late Gerudo Link goal. With only /i/ standing in their way to the knock-outs, /y/ played some of the best football they had ever played in a Elite cup, with a 4-2 win and a Yaranaika Hat-Trick, the first ever for /y/.

/y/ had finally made history, making it to the knock-outs of an elite cup for the first time ever. With new found support, they played against /out/ with a combination of a defensive master class and a buttload of luck to hold a 0-0 draw. It also helped having Denied Pleasure and Fujo's carry the team in their first penalty shootout to a win, making it to the final 8. Sadly, /y/ played eventual cup winners /biz/, and were quickly humbled with a 5-1 loss. They were the last anime team to be eliminated from the tournament.

/y/ went again for the 2022 4chan Summer Cup , playing a more conservative approach, they managed to top the group once more with very meme tactics. With trap-tricks, ref-ball, super-sub out of position goalkeepers and 1-1 passing, /y/ played some of the most odd, awkward and fun football to date. However, the knockouts proved too tough once more for /y/, as they were eliminated in the Round of 16 by two time champions /fit/.

/y/ was place in a group of death in the 2023 4chan Winter Cup, after managing a draw against consistent cup performers /vrpg/, they were able to produce an upset meme victory against rivals /u/ in a huge shock result. Carrying that momentun, they managed to keep current babby champion /vg/ at bay with a tie, makeing /y/ stay elite once more. Sadly, the team used all is energy and spirit in the group stages, and once again fell to /biz/ in the knock-outs after a gutsy 3-1 effort.

/y/ again was again placed into a difficult group containing recent Babby cup champions /co/, 4th placed Winter Cup rivals /cm/ and fan favorites /vr/. After winning against /vr/ with out of position defenders and strikers, /y/ dominated rivals /cm/ with a Traps brace. Their last cup game against /co/ became one of the most entertaining matches of the cup, thanks to a Goal of the tournament equalizer at the death, by the veteran Yee Haa! Left Back Sea turtle, /y/ was rewarded with a draw and topping the group. Sadly, once again /y/ used all its charm and power in the group stage, and were tightly put away by /c/ in the knockouts.

/y/ is currently the fifth best anime team, With a well deserved 6 months break until Summer, /y/ looks to make their next elite cup campaign another one to remember.
