2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup

The 2018 4chan Summer Cup will be the twenty-eighth official 4chan Cup tournament and the eighth iteration of the Summer Cup series. It will be played on currently undetermined dates in the summer of 2018. The tournament will feature a mixture of teams that qualify from the 2018 4chan Spring Babby Cup, as well as the teams that managed to qualify for the knockout stage of the 2018 4chan Winter Cup.

/u/ will host this tournament by virtue of their victory in the 2018 4chan Winter Cup.

Competitors

Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament, sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of advancing to the knockout stage of the 2018 4chan Winter Cup, and sixteen will qualify by means of advancing from the 2018 4chan Spring Babby Cup.

Pots

Teams were placed in four different pots based on seeding. Seeding was determined by:

1. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2018 4chan Winter Cup in that tournament.
2. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2018 4chan Spring Babby Cup in that tournament.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight finishers from Winter) were placed in Pot 1; the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all four pots contained eight teams.
