The 2019 4chan Spring Babby Cup will be the thirty-first official 4chan Cup tournament and the eighth iteration of the Spring Babby Cup series. The tournament will be played on dates to be decided after the winter of 2019. The tournament will feature a mixture of teams that are relegated from the 2019 4chan Winter Cup, teams that failed to qualify from the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup (pending qualifiers), and teams from the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.

As the winner of the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, /pol/ will host this tournament.

Competitors

Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament; sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of relegation from the 2019 4chan Winter Cup, five will qualify by failing to advance from the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, six will be granted a bye due to failing to advance from the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers, and five teams will advance from the 2019 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers.

This Cup will be the debut Spring Babby Cup of /aco/.

Pots

The group draw will occur on May 11th.

Teams will be placed in four different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:

1. The finishing position of the 16 teams relegated from the 2019 4chan Winter Cup in that tournament.
2. The finishing position of the team who failed to qualify from the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup group stages.
3. The finishing position of the teams who advance from the 2019 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers.
4. The finishing positions of the remaining teams who failed to advance from the 2018 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight relegated from Winter) are placed in Pot 1; the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all pots contain eight teams each.
