2019 4chan Autumn Babby Cup

The 2019 4chan Summer Cup will be the thirty-second official 4chan Cup tournament and the ninth iteration of the Summer Cup series. It will be played on currently undetermined dates in the summer of 2019. The tournament will feature a mixture of teams that qualify from the 2019 4chan Spring Babby Cup, as well as the teams that qualified for the knockout stage of the 2019 4chan Winter Cup.

/gd/ is the host of this tournament, having won the 2019 4chan Winter Cup.

Competitors

Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament, sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of advancing to the knockout stage of the 2019 4chan Winter Cup, and sixteen will qualify by means of advancing from the 2019 4chan Spring Babby Cup.

This cup will be the Elite Cup debut of /aco/ and the Summer Cup debut of /y/.

Pots

Teams are placed in four different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:

1. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2019 4chan Winter Cup in that tournament.
2. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2019 4chan Spring Babby Cup in that tournament.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight finishers from Winter) are placed in Pot 1; the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all four pots contain eight teams.
