The 2020 4chan Summer Cup was the thirty-sixth official 4chan Cup tournament and the tenth iteration of the Summer Cup series. The tournament featured a mixture of teams that qualify from the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup, as well as the teams that managed to qualify for the knockout stage of the 2020 4chan Winter Cup.

As the winner of the 2020 4chan Winter Cup, /pol/ hosted this tournament. /u/ won their second Elite title after defeating /c/ 3–2 in the final, while /diy/ beat /out/ in the third place playoff.

Thirty-two teams competed at this tournament, sixteen of which qualified by means of advancing to the knockout stage of the 2020 4chan Winter Cup, and sixteen of which qualified by means of advancing from the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup.

Teams were placed in four different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:

1. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2020 4chan Winter Cup in that tournament.
2. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup in that tournament.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight finishers from Winter) are placed in Pot 1; the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all four pots contain eight teams.
