The 2022 4chan Winter Cup will be the forty-first official 4chan Cup tournament and the eleventh iteration of the Winter Cup series. Teams that advanced to the knockout stage of the 2021 4chan Winter Cup, and those which secured promotion from the 2021 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, will compete at the event.

/n/ will host this tournament, having won the 2021 4chan Winter Cup.

Competitors

Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament; sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of advancing to the knockout stage of the 2021 4chan Winter Cup, and sixteen will qualify by means of advancing from the 2021 4chan Autumn Babby Cup.

This will be the debut Elite Cup for /pw/.

Pots

The group stage draw will take place on January 23rd, 2022.

Teams were placed in four different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:

1. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2021 4chan Winter Cup in that tournament.
2. The finishing position of the top 16 teams from the 2021 4chan Autumn Babby Cup in that tournament.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight finishers from Winter) are placed in Pot 1; the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all four pots contain eight teams.
