This page will try to explain how to install Blender for the 4cc. Most tools work fine with Blender 2.78c, so this page will be written around that.

Downloading Blender

Go to http://download.blender.org/release/Blender2.78/ and download the 2.78c for your operating system. If you have no idea what you're doing, it is advised to download the .exe.

Installing Blender

When you have downloaded it, just run the .exe and follow the steps.

Setting up Blender

When the installation finishes, you have to set up a few things for most of the 4cc scripts to work with Blender.

Download the 2.78 config.

Now go to: C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.78 and copy the config and scripts folders there.
For Linux: $HOME/.config/blender/2.78
For Mac: /Users/$USER/Library/Application Support/Blender/2.78

After this you have the default blender config and the most important scripts needed for 4cc modelling work.
