Rules

All standard Cup rules (as of the 2018 4chan Winter Cup) are enforced, with the following changes:

  • Squad
    • Each team must have at least one goalkeeper. (The second goalkeeper is not required!)
    • Each team must have exactly 1 Gold player.
    • Each team must have exactly 2 Silver players.
    • Each team must have exactly 3 Bronze players. The Super Sub card is free for Bronze players.
    • All players get an additional A position. (2 positions for players 180cm and above, 3 for players below 180cm.)
  • Tactical
    • At most five medal players can be on the pitch at any one time.
    • Teams have four subs per match.

Autopilot Policy

In order to ensure a >fair chance of advancing from the group stage for each team, we must have groups of the same size. In the event that 11 or 13 teams sign up, making it impossible to evenly divide the teams into groups, an autopilot team will be added. Autopilot exports will be constructed by a third party and submitted before the draw. Autopilot teams will be determined as follows:

  • If there exists a previous Tag Team Cup team with neither member board participating in the current Tag Team Cup, that team will be added as an autopilot.
  • If no such team exists, the Tag Team Cup organisers will roll boards randomly until they find a pair they can complete a roster for.
