In a time long gone, /lgbt/ was the upstart that had it all.

Though they were one of two Provisionals to dominate the Qualifiers for the 2013 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, it was /lgbt/ that soared as [s4s] crashed and burned in the group stage to follow -- and by then, they were ``the`` team to beat. Alas, PES had other plans: though their loss to /y/ in a "pointless" last group stage match seemed no cause for worry as they went on to crush /vr/, the hopes of /lgbt/'s fans would soon be dashed as a late own goal against /hr/ the next day sealed the fate of their cup run.

Now, three years after, /lgbt/ has claimed the cup that all but seemed theirs so many moons past, and what a journey it's been -- in the cups to follow that fateful autumn, it seemed as though /lgbt/ could never live up to the standard they themselves had set. Soon, they had fallen into obscurity, into the Babby fixtures, and finally, into undeath, as an abandoned autopilot languished at the bottom of Autumn 2015's Group F. Until recently, too, they had seemed all but likely to die for good -- until new management burst onto the scene seemingly out of nowhere, amd like the /lgbt/ of old, they took the Babby by storm. Now, with a Cup in hand and Summer looming, the question poses itself again: this time, will /lgbt/ pass, or is history poised to repeat? Only time (and PES) will tell.
