What a ride it has been for /cm/.

Flashback to the 2019 Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers, /cm/ is in Pot 3 for qualifying and is an absolute unknown coming into the qualifying stage. After drawing their first match, /cm/ would adorably devastate the competition, finishing with a +7 goal differential and a teal and purple ticket to the 2019 Spring Babby Cup.

When the cup began, many eyes were endearingly watching /cm/ as many expected Len-kun!!! and Nagisa to carry the team through on another powerfully cute run; the power duo did exactly that. In the three matches in the group stage for the Babby Cup, the pair scored all 7 goals for /cm/, including 4 in a win-or-go-home match against /mu/ that not even PES could contain. While the two would once again fetchingly carry them in the Round of 16 against /x/, /cm/ would be shocked in the Quarterfinals at Benuldy’s Pub when Nagisa’s card got declined by Captain Meido. Among this and reports that Nagisa had drunkenly yelled “Shinji is a bitch ass motherfucker”, /cm/ would be denied entry to the Semifinals. With all eyes now on them, /cm/ qualified for their first Elite Cup since the 2018 Winter Cup. The team of pretty and heart-melting boys would be up against stiff competition as their first match was against defending champions and aesthetic extraordinaires /gd/, but /cm/ would make quick work of them in a charming 3-1 win, making a statement to the 4cc that this team was not going away. After a shock draw and loss though, some viewers were beginning to believe there was a chink in the cute yet strong armor.

/cm/ were paired against /diy/ in the Round of 16 and finish for the ages as hope looked lost after an 82’ go ahead goal by /diy/, but Nagisa was not ready to let go. Nagisa scored at 85 and dabbed on /diy/, causing /diy/ to overheat and commit an own goal for /cm/ to advance. It was the cutest spaghetti end to a game that the Elite Cup has seen in quite a while. Across the span of the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Elite Cup Final, /cm/ would win each game with a total aggregate score of 11-1, and delectably destructive run that is unheard of. Kaworu Nagisa had 12 goals across the entire cup, while having 9 in the final 2 matches, where /cm/ needed it most. Yet, being the absolute monsters on the pitch that Kaworu Nagisa, Len-kun!!!, and the rest of the boys are, they are also undoubtedly the most beautiful and best at divegrass, now having a star to prove it. Perhaps they’ll pick up another star on their trip to the moon.

Tune into the 2020 Winter Cup to see if the cute boys can make it back-to-back!
