This page is meant to list all PES tools that we recommend worth using in one place. It is still under construction and thus incomplete.

All PES versions

Edit file

  • 4ccEditor - An editor for PES19, 18, 17, and 16 EDIT files with several convenient features, including editing aesthetics settings and the ability to port teams between versions. This is the recommended editor to use and the only one updated regularly.

Balls

  • 4cc balls compiler - Packs your ball folders depending on the folder names listed on the balls_list txt. This version supports both fmdls, with automatic texture path changing, and .model files. It also comes with a few ball folders you can use as template. Please read the readme file included to learn how to use it.

Aesthetic exports

This tool converts aesthetic exports following the AET format into a cpk and automatically adds it to the PES DLC filelist, so that you can test them right away.
It also warns about any errors in the export, so you can use this tool to check if you compiled it properly. Please read the readme file included to learn how to use it.
You can also keep track of the latest updates and download experimental versions on the GitHub page. Feel free to report bugs and request new features on the Issues tab.

Blender plugins

  • Blender Starter Pack - Complete all-in-one pack of scripts and settings for a cup-standard installation. It gets updated with the latest version of the PES plugins fairly frequently, so make sure to check back every few months.

PES 19

Make sure to check the All PES versions section first.

Referees

  • 4cc refs compiler - Packs your referee face folders depending on the folder names listed on the refs list txt. This version supports fmdls and automatic texture path changing (you need to replace the player ID 'XXXxx' with 'referee000' manually on any models you want to use first), but it doesn't pack boots and gloves yet.

PES 17

Make sure to check the All PES versions section first.

Edit file

The Edit file (often simply referred to as save) stores all player stats, appearance settings, teams, tactics, and so on. It is created once you start the game and open the Edit menu.
In PES17 EDIT00000000 can be found in %HOMEPATH%\documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2017\save.

  • Editor - A new PES17 editor with the familiar UI of PES Next-Gen Editor.
  • 4ccEditor - An editor for PES19, 18, 17, and 16 EDIT files with several convenient features, including editing aesthetics settings and the ability to port teams between versions.
