/bushi/ is the virtual memegrass team based on Bushiroad, a japanese entertainment company known for creating and owning some popular multimedia franchises such as Bang Dream! (aka Bandori), Revue Starlight or D4DJ; for publishing mobile games of other famous franchises such as Love Live!, Symphogear or Detective Conan; for shilling producing various card games, such as Cardfight Vanguard, and if you're an /asp/ie, for being the owners of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, aka NJPW, and Stardom.
Therefore, this team's roster includes players that represent some of these franchises owned by Bushiroad, or some seiyuu who work on them, joining forces to try and give a good show on the pitch.
