Tag Team Cup
Tag Team Cup 2
Tag Team Cup 3

A follow up to the first Tag Team Cup, Tag Team Cup 2 is an invitational tournament most likely taking place on the 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th April, 2016 (tentative dates that are subject to change depending on how participating managers feel regarding the newly planned fetus cup). Teams competing in this tournament are formed by two 4chan boards, and jointly managed by the management of both boards. Teams are built with one gold player and four silver players, with the gold player representing a combination of the two boards. The rosters can be entirely new, a mix of new players and existing ones or a simple mashup of two boards current rosters - the decision is left to managers of each team.
The tournament will be hosted by CaptainPlanet, most likely on his twitch. All match days will start at 17UTC, i.e. the usual Cup Time.

  • Team logo

Rules

Most normal Cup rules regarding exports will apply: height brackets - complete with height abuse penalties, card limit (1 for GKs, 2 for non-medals, 3 for silvers, 4 for golds, free captaincy) etc. The sole exception is the use of GSSSS system instead of GGSS.
The game will be set to 10 minutes halves on superstar AI, with 3 subs, random conditioning, injuries on, emotions off.
There are no specific rules regarding timeouts as they are at host's discretion. In theory this means the amount of timeouts is unlimited, in praxis the host has the right to ignore you should you spend too much time adjusting things on air.
Nightly exports will be accepted and are encouraged but pre-game sliders changes will be allowed. Adjusting formations on air is not strictly forbidden but it's the first step to making the host disregard your instructions further down the stretch.
Please note that should rule changes for Spring get announced at least 24h prior to the first match day of Tag Team Cup 2 the tournament will also apply all of them. If they will get announced after the managers will submit their exports TTC2 staff will take care of editing the stats and the like.

Format

The format will depend on the number of teams that will sign up. We have something planned for 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16 team tournaments. 11, 13, 14 would be trickier. Generally we'd like to ensure each team will get as many guaranteed games as possible (at least 3 no matter what, hopefully 4).
Groups will either be drawn randomly or assigned arbitrarily, to ensure some fun match ups will take place. This will be decided by the organizers after the signups will close and announced subsequently.

Signups

As a rule of thumb the signups will be handled on a 'first come, first serve' basis but the organizers have the right to exercise their Big Market Bias to allow Big Market Tag Teams to participate over some smaller teams.
If you wish to sign up name the tag team you're signing up and sign it off with four tildes (~).
