Originally created as a way for hololive fans to make fun of nijisanji (due to the percieved idea that Hololive's popularity was unreachable), anons soon found out things were actually far closer than they anticipated. After an initial chaos and a lot of hurt feelings, people began to realize how thrilling and fun it was to see who would get the highest stream peaks, regardless of the winner. Despite claims of intense schizophrenia, /#/ remains the best place to find out about what every single vtuber is doing, regardless of status, employer or the like, since there's always at least one anon who will keep everyone up to date in case an event changes theusual numbers, which has led to some ttreating /#/ as a news center of the vtuber world.
