2023 4chan Summer Cup

The 2023 4chan Spring Babby Cup will be the forty-sixth official 4chan Cup tournament and the twelfth iteration of the Spring Cup series. Teams that were relegated from the 2023 4chan Winter Cup, those which failed to advance from the 2022 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, and those which failed to qualify from the 2022 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers, will compete at the event.

Competitors

At least thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament; sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of relegation from the 2023 4chan Winter Cup, sixteen will qualify by means of failing to advance to the knockout stage of the 2022 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, and six will qualify by failing to advance from the 2022 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers. Additionally, teams from the 2023 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers may play, depending on the amount of alive teams.

Pots

The group stage draw will be held on TBD, 2023.

Teams are placed in four or five different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:

1. The finishing position of the 16 teams relegated from the 2023 4chan Winter Cup in that tournament.
2. The finishing position of the teams who failed to qualify from the 2022 4chan Autumn Babby Cup group stage.
3. The finishing position of the teams who advance from the 2023 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers.
4. The finishing position of the teams who failed to qualify from the 2022 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight relegated from Winter) are placed in Pot 1; the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all pots contain eight teams each.
