/ssbg/ came into the /vg/ league in August 2014 and immediately became a fan favorite due to the fact that every weeb and manchild on 4chan played Smash at some point in their lives or still does. With founding manager Boss Rigger !aKSX6MhrLY at the helm the team looked to be a contender for a top 3 finish despite never playing a single game. However due to unforeseen circumstances Boss Rigger was unable to manage during the /vg/ league 3 and threw /ssbg/'s fate up in the air. However /a/ tester/Assistant Manager CanadaFag !!UBP3WKf+VPY came in to make an export and save /ssbg/, allowing them to stay in for the tournament.
