The Persona series of video games is easily the most popular spin-off series from the classic JRPG franchise "Shin Megami Tensei" and with it's ever-growing popularity on /a/ and /v/, as well as the autism from the countless waifu wars, came the /pg/ general when they weren't allowed on /smtg/ because Persona is too casual and not as hardcore as Nocturne or Stange Journey. After 6 months of planning and preparation /pg/ looked to debut in VGL4 after the 2015 4chan Spring Babby Cup but again the team would be unable to play due to organisation falling apart at the last minute. Once again the team is looking to finally play at the upcoming VGL7 with a new manager on the helm.

The idea for the /pg/ team came up during the sign-up phase of [[/vg/ League 3]] when some guy who used to manage /a/ or something sparked the idea of a team, however due to the closing deadlines the plans for /pg/'s creation put on halt and plans for establishment pushed to the [[/vg/ League 4]] sign-up period and the mystery man instead used the VGL3 to save /ssbg/'s season and acted as interim manager while taking them to a 7th place finish, losing only once to the eventual finalists [[/wtg/]].
