==History==
Originally created as a spinoff of <b>[[/numbers/|/#/]]</b>, the thread was quickly overtaken (rightfully so) by Japanese vtuber fans who felt they had no homes. The thread soon became a sanctuary for homeless Kizuners, <b>/.LIVE/</b> thread experiment refugees, <b>[[/vsinger/|/vsinger/]]</b> refugees, Pmaru worshippers, and Aogiri Kouko folks who somehow conjured themselves out of nowhere <s><small>in addition to the occasional Joshus, Soratomos, and Nijifans, even though the thread likes to pretend they ignore all HoloNiji</small></s>. Despite being proud of clinging to the past of vtubing, they actually hated their own history. They quickly realized being a numbers thread wasn't a good look, and rebranded it to be more akin to the original <b>/vy/</b> thread from <b>[[/jp/|/jp/]]</b>, though they kept the name. Today, the thread comfortably exists as the fastest Japanese-focused thread on the board.
