/vg/ League 6 will be the sixth iteration of the /vg/ general themed PES competition. Similar to the previous Leagues, signups are open and any team verified for participation is able to compete. The purpose of the League is to decide the roster of the actual /vg/ team for the 4chan Cup. /vg/ League 6 will be a joint effort between the head organizer, the streamers, the aesthetics team, the /vg/ management team, and the VGL Council. /vg/ League 6 will be the final VGL streamed by the original VGL streamer, UselessNepgear.
The League has no set stream location due to the cup's migration to Hitbox. More details on this at a later date.
Important Dates
- April 24th - May 1st, VGL6 sign ups open. There will definitely be a waitlist. Mega Cup is not happening, any waitlisters and teams towards the bottom of the list will play in a Qualifier if needed.
- May 25th, Export and aesthetics deadline the second it becomes the 1st at midnight UTC (aka May 31st, 23:59:59 UTC.) No exceptions.
- May 27th, Any and all export save fixes are due at the same time as the previous deadline. Added aesthetics will also be due by this date.
- May 27th - 29th, Weekend reserved for the possibility of qualifiers. Draw will follow qualifiers on the 29th. If no qualifiers are played or it is a very few set of matches, friendlies will occur on the 28th, followed by a draw.
- June 4th, /vg/ League 6 begins.
