2. Kizuna Ai. The size of her tits cannot be helped, unfortunately.

Write-in #2: Kit suggestions

I did try this, and the problem is that it has a lot of layers and transparency. There's the seifuku collar, detached sleeves, lots of lace, a ribbon, a slit in the shorts with black cloth underneath... it's very difficult to try to replicate within the restrictions of a PES outfit and have it not come out looking like a tuxedo t-shirt. Not impossible, but not within my artistic ability.

Write-in #3: Anthem suggestions

For this one, respondents were asked to suggest an anthem if they voted that the anthems should be separated. For the 19 people who voted affirmatively to that idea, I received 2 suggestions:

• MyonMyonMyonMyonMyon! by Shibayan Records

I don't think it's a bad song, it's just a little sleepy. I was considering maybe using it for wich2hu's goalhorn but even then, Hiroari Shoots a Strange Bird is hype and has many good remixes. Thank you for actually suggesting something, though.

• AIAIAI by Kizuna Ai

Pretty good. Will give it a shot.

For what it's worth, when I initially suggested this change in my introduction post I had in mind Samurai Blue by ZZ. In retrospect I'm not sure it would've landed, as I doubt many /jp/ posters had a homebrew DS in 2007 or are familiar with the Japan national football team.

Anyway, the anthem for the first game will be a special meme anthem to celebrate the 3 new Vtubers on the roster and thereon out AIAIAI, and the question will reopen in the next poll should anybody develop a suggestion in the meantime.

Write-in #4: Goalhorn suggestions

This is kinda true, I suppose. But my goal for custom goalhorns is not to never hear Endless Tewi.

That's a funny idea but I see two problems. First, the goalhorn can potentially go for over a minute during replays. Second, Take it Easy! is a centerback and therefore is extremely unlikely to ever score, and having too many horns in Rigdio can be an issue.

I agree.

• Feelgood Koshimizu for Sachiko

Sure.

• Bunbunmaru by Wise-ONE for Japanese Bird

I don't think this has the kind of energy I want in a goalhorn. Tewi literally sounds like she's falling asleep in this.

Tempting, but my concerns are that this is too quiet, too short, and maybe a little too /a/.

Unfortunately, the same practical problem with giving a horn to Take it Easy! and I don't see a case for moving either of these players up the field.

Write-in #5: Chant suggestions

Disagree. We have 4 chants and one is 2 seconds long and has flopped every single time I saw it played.

If you can get me a well-isolated clip at least like 5 seconds long I'd be glad to evaluate them on a case-by-case basis. I looked into a couple of the suggestions made but couldn't find anything that didn't have a cacophony of game audio drowning it out.

Presumably in the customary yukkuri voice. I'll look into it but it might be a little short.

• Billy Herrington Niconico speech; "Aniki! Aniki!" audience chant from when Billy went to Chokaigi

I will look into these.

Would be more fitting as goalhorns, if the team had relevant players. Too long for chants.

I like it. I will look into how conditional a chant can be; it would be awkward for this to play if we're losing.

Miscellaneous Discussion

Slight oversight of not asking "who should be promoted to medal" as I did not expect to see anybody voted out of medalhood. Tentatively I think it should be Billy.

On the other hand, I did see the votes against the JFA 2020 kit coming. At first blush it looks like a weird, unfitting camouflage pattern. I only came around to not disliking it while making the kit, and I still think I prefer the 2018 kit for clarity. I think the pattern is meant to be evocative of The Great Wave Off Kanagawa?

After putting the poll up, I got the idea for a conditional general goal horn when scoring outside the box. If I can fit it, we'll see if it ever plays.

Autumn 2020

65 votes cast. No vote was discarded, however going forward the verification will be more strict.

I think the takeaway here is Cirno's approval rating of about 66%: lower than Billy (81.5%) or the Bird (71%) which are both silvers.

Almost a third of respondents thought Billy deserved promotion; he will take Cirno's place as gold medal. As for Cirno, that concerns the next question:

76% of people who chose to write in a nomination chose to nominate The Narrative. Given the relatively high level of interest in her (as well as the dismal approval for Cirno and her lack of tenure in that position anyway) I see no need to prolong Cirno's fall to nonmedal by having her take up a silver position for a cup. The Narrative will be a silver medal for Autumn.

For this question, I first introduced my idea for this player (basically, my concept was to model her on the biggest source of drama at the time of the poll) but ultimately left it to respondents whether to go with that or just pick their favorite. I also explained the practical limitation that any candidate needs to actually have an available free model.

I think the relatively high support here for Mio is your indicator for support of the "Most Drama" concept. I might do a kind of ranked-order next time given the large number of choices and probability of leaning toward a popularity contest.

Anthem

In Summer, /jp/ split the victory anthem from the anthem. AIAIAI was chosen for the anthem, based on a limited number of (read: two) suggestions. Support for this anthem was gauged in a yes/no question.
