Dipshit who got roped into caretaking/managing /utg/ to keep them alive.

Also the guy who won the Golden Spoon for /gd/ in 2022.

/utg/ Stat Autism Weirdness

As of the end of VGL22:

  • The /utg/ team has the most /vg/ roster appearances without ever reaching a /vg/ League semifinal at 12; the current 2nd place of this (dubious) record is minor rival /@/ with 10.
  • Of active roster streaks, /utg/ has the longest with 6, followed by /twg/ (4*, 2 semis, 2 stars), /smtg/ (4, 1 semis, 0 stars), /2hug/ (3, 1 semi, 1 star), and /bag/ (3, 1 semi, 0 stars).

  • If absences are not considered as breaking streaks: /drg/ and /xcg/ would both increase to 8, /utg/ would increase to 7, and both the /xcg/ and /hsg/ streaks would still be alive if the teams revived.

  • Post-revival, every /utg/ appearance in the knockout rounds was ended by the team that would go on to lose that League's finals and finish in second overall.
    • /mjg/ in VGL17, /akg/ in VGL19, /revue/ in VGL21, and /gfg/ in VGL22; this can extended further back in time (skipping absences) to /drg/ in VGL13.
    • The two teams to beat /utg/ in SR in this time (/@/ in VGL18 SR2, /fgoalter/ in VGLX2 SR1) were both immediately eliminated in their next game.
    • /fgg/ would go on to place 2nd after defeating the team in Survival Round 2 of VGLX, in a match that still holds various single-game carding records.
