Ruleset

Played on Touhou 9 Kaeizuka ~ Phantasmagoria of Flower View, CPU vs CPU, Hard Mode.
All players will have their movement speed changed to 4.5 for normal movement and 2.5 for focused movement (same as Reisen and Lunasa's), for balancing reasons.

The tournament is played with a first stage consisting in a single round-robin (66 matches divided in 6 rounds, 11 matches per player).
The top 4 classified players progress to a knockouts stage with semifinals, third place match and finals.
Every match is a single game with up to three rounds. The first player to win two rounds wins the match.
3 points are awarded for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss.

Timing Rules

Matches should last between 7 and 10 minutes on average.
Should a match last more than 15 minutes total, sudden death will start: The next player to get hit by a bullet will lose the match.
Should a match last more than 20 minutes total, it will immediately end in a draw.

Rebalancing

Despite the balancing efforts, players have not been thoroughly tested and might be unbalanced.
Although this competition is just for >fun, there will be a rebalancing phase between rounds 6 and 7 to (hopefully) prevent players from just losing all of their matches.

After playing their sixth match:

• Any players who have lost five of their matches will get a 0.5 boost to their speeds.
  
• Any players who have lost all of their matches will get a 1.0 boost to their speeds.
  
• Any players who have won all of their matches will get a 0.5 nerf to their speeds.
