Description
/civ4xg/ is /vg/'s home for discussion of 4x strategy games, the most popular of which is Civilization 5. Other Sid Meier titles, such as the earlier Civilization games, Alpha Centauri, and the occasional Civ 5 mod are frequent subjects as well.

Team Performance History
/vg/ League 2
/vg/ League 2 group draw was held on May 31 2014 following the second day of Summer Friendly action. /civ4xg/ were drawn into Group F, placing them with /acg/, lolg/, and /domg/. Headed by inaugural manager Krazy, /civ4xg/'s first game was a 1-0 thriller of a loss to /acg/. Despite the loss, /civ4xg/ would return to the pitch with a strong showing against /domg/, winning 2-1, with the clean sheet being trolled away by a cheeky 95' Bogus the Troll marker. The final group match against /lolg/ would prove to be pivotal, as /civ4xg/ essentially needed to win to advance to the knockout round. While /lolg/ took an early lead, Gandhi nuked home a 65' equalizer. /civ4xg/ would fall behind soon again to two goals by a fucking Giraffe, Krazy would proceed to lose his shit, overreact, and go full yolo mode, and /civ4xg/ would go on to lose 5-1 and fail to make it out of the group stage.
