/vg/ League 2 group draw was held on May 31 2014 following the second day of Summer Friendly action. /civ4xg/ were drawn into Group F, placing them with /acg/, lolg/, and /domg/. Headed by inaugural manager Krazy, /civ4xg/'s first game was a 1-0 thriller of a loss to /acg/. Despite the loss, /civ4xg/ would return to the pitch with a strong showing against /domg/, winning 2-1, with the clean sheet being trolled away by a cheeky 95' Bogus the Troll marker. The final group match against /lolg/ would prove to be pivotal, as /civ4xg/ essentially needed to win to advance to the knockout round. While /lolg/ took an early lead, Gandhi nuked home a 65' equalizer. /civ4xg/ would fall behind soon again to two goals by a fucking Giraffe, Krazy would proceed to lose his shit, overreact, and go full yolo mode, and /civ4xg/ would go on to lose 5-1 and fail to make it out of the group stage.
