Team History
Founding
/s4s/ was founded on May 17th, 2013, being the fastest provisional to properly make a team, starting and finishing in less than a day. DoubleNigger !!WN64AbCpO6P, Anonymous, and Sage were the first to step up to manage the team. People kept joining (such as {anonymous|XxDeAtH_ShReKxX|!S4sSSSssss}}), and at one point, /s4s/ had 5 managers before they had even played an official game. However, Sage was never heard from again after the original thread, Anon manager retired, and XxDeAtH_ShReKxX !S4sSSSssss was a public trip, leaving DoubleNigger !!WN64AbCpO6P as the lone manager of Dubs FC.
DrBorisG Friendlies and M3ow League
During the 2013 4chan Summer Cup's preseason, DrBorisG !!9Egy5BjxCDo, now cup commissioner was at that moment /hr/'s manager. /s4s/ wanted to play a match as soon as humanly possible, but alas, the Summer Friendlies were a while away. So, Boris hosted what has come to be known as the DrBorisG Friendlies. /s4s/ stormed through these matches, at one point having a 7 game winning streak, before choking losing to /trv/. After the final week of Boris's friendlies, /s4s/ took part in the M3ow League, a "shitty successor to the DrBorisG Friendlies". However all stats are lost for this league due to >manlettears.
Dubs Cup
/s4s/ unknowingly took part in the 2013 Dubs Cup. /s4s/ made it to the Knockouts without DN even being there, but lost in a blowout to /y/, 4-2.
2013 Summer Friendlies: First goal, first win
/s4s/'s first official match was played against /gd/, managed by M3OWMIX. /gd/ went up 3-0 and was cruising to an easy win in their first match ever. Shrek did score a consolation goal (the club's first ever), and lost 3-1.
Their first win came against a /b/ side, managed by Cosa Nostra !BtYk4tTx2c. The lone goal of the game came from then-medal AMF, Quads, at 22 minutes.
2013 Autumn Babby Friendlies: Yay Doge, Hooray
New addition Doge took over longtime starting goalkeeper Refu's position and had his first game against /an/. Sadly, questionable tactics by >DN allowed too many easy throughballs to go...well...through, and /s4s/ lost 2-0. He had his chance at redemption against /fa/, and he was put on the spot as /fa/ paid the refs enough money beforehand were fouled inside the box and were given a penalty kick. Amazingly, Doge saved the kick and /s4s/ later scored what would be the winning goal, and won 1-0.
2013 Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers
Due to MUH HAIT ABYOOS the new Height Requirements, Shrek lost his Speed Merchant card and became a SS. However, he still acted like his former position, scoring 7 goals throughout 5 games on his way to the Golden Boot as /s4s/ breezed through Group B in the Babby qualifiers. 2 out of their 3 victories came by two or more goals. With a tie against the legbutts, they finished at the top of the group with 10 points because of goal difference, and were through to the 2013 4chan Autumn Babby Cup...
2013 Autumn Babby Cup
...where they drew /cgl/, /r9k/, and /pol/. In their first game against /pol/, /s4s/ started out with an early 1-0 lead, but gave up 2 late goals and lost 2-1. /s4s/ drew with /cgl/ 1-1, after a 65' goal by Shrek. /s4s/ needed a win versus /r9k/ to at least avoid being relegated to the Spring Fetus, and things were looking up after 4 goals by Shrek gave them a 4-2 lead late in the second half. Sadly, the wheels came off in the last 23 minutes as Robot9001 scored at 67' and 77'. /s4s/ drew for the second straight match, finished with a disappointing 2 points and -1 goal difference, and were once again in the Fetus tier of competition.
