GK	1920X1080		A wallpaper of this resolution. Or not, given that I had to resize it to fit this page.	1920X1080 is probably the most common resolution you will find on /w/. Most requests for resizing of an image is to this resolution. Given that, it is unsurprising that this hallmark size is the netminder for /w/.
CB	Renders		Arguing about renders won't change anything but go ahead if it makes you feel better.	While the word render may not actually mean to remove the background on an image the word has become the go to slang for just that. One of the most common kind of requests in the IMT renders are a staple edit type on /w/.
CB	Life Sucks Drop Out		S2 never.	Despite flopping so hard in Japan it caused a tsunami Nichijou remains popular on /w/ because of its beautiful aesthetic and being a pretty good show.
CB	Girls With Guns		Finally, an excuse to talk about my Nagant.	Everyone is a fan of warfare and everyone on /w/ is a fan of anime (I'm not too sure on the second one actually). Through some unholy fusion of /w/ and /k/ emerged Girls With Guns, ready to take on the competition armed with more fire-power than a third world country.
DMF	Eva Thread #444		_______ best giant robot.	Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the most notable anime of all time so it is no wonder that threads are popular on /w/. The show lends itself nicely to wallpapers as well with its abundance of giant robots, huge setpieces, iconic imagery, and large cast of female characters to argue about.
LMF	Minimalist		Sometimes less is more.	A fairly new OC thread on /w/ the minimalist threads exist to take anime images, remove some lines, slap them on a background then call it a day.
RMF	Vectors		I couldn't find a vector of Accelerator. ;_;	These threads are about talented anons taking your images and making them into beautiful high res PNGs through a combination of talent, time, photo editing software, and magic.
CMF	IMT		We can modify it, we have the technology.	One of the two staple OC threads on /w/ along with vector threads, IMT if where you go if want colours changed, the background recoloured, or text removed from your images.
AMF	Powerlevel		Do you get it, or does it go right over your head.	To many people powerlevel wallpapers are the wallpaper equivalent of an inside joke. Most will look at the image and simply say that it looks cool, but if you know the show then you will recognize the wallpaper.
SS	Miss Monochrome		Miss Monochrome is looking to be noticed by playing futbol.	How to tell if you are in a vector thread: step one, do you see an image of Miss Monochrome in the OP? If so, you are in a vector thread, if not, go to the catalog to find the thread.
CF	Waifu Walls		A picture of somebody's waifu.	A wallpaper of you're waifu, fairly straightforward but you want the best wallpaper there is of her. Don't worry, all the best wallpapers are on /w/, so search away.

CB	Kuro (629)		Blink	One of a series of wallpapers from the Monogatari series.
CB	Solid Color		Solid color wallpapers are fairly self explanatory.	Step one, anime girl. Step two, put that anime girl on a color. Congratulations, you have achieved a wallpaper.
CB	Bang		See you, Space Cowboy.	Cowboy Bebop is very good, in fact it is so good that lots of people feel like staring at high resolution images of Spike and I can't say I blame them.
CB	A is for Anime		A is also for angel.	A popular wallpaper game where an anon posts a wallpaper that contains something that starts with the letter A, then the next anon posts one for B and that continues through the alphabet until someone forgets what comes after P.
CB	Ghibli		Visit their museum in Japan	Everyone loves Ghibli, and /w/ is part of everyone. The works produced by Studio Ghibli are visually stunning and unique, making their art perfect to adorn one's desktop.
DMF	Cute Girls in Shapes		Adorable	A recent trend on /w/ is to have small renders placed within a shape on a large image.
DMF	Yotsuba Sticky		Not only is the sticky's resolution weird but it's also a jpg when it should be a png.	The wallpaper that greets every anon who enters /w/, the text on the sticky isn't that helpful and should probably be updated but if it means that Yotsuba stays I'm fine with how it is.
LMF	>>>/wg/		Get out you shits.	That other wallpaper place. Does Pokémon belong here or there? These are life's important questions.
LMF	Seasons		Spring worst season.	Sometimes you want your wallpaper to capture the great outdoors and since you are a filthy weeaboo even nature itself must be in 2d for you to appreciate it.
RMF	One Week Challenge		You could wind up with this as your wallpaper, do you feel lucky?	A type of wallpaper roulette, you post an image and the person who posted before you gets whatever you decide they deserve, but beware, the next poster holds the same power over you.
RMF	Current		My wallpapers are in a rotation so this is what was there when I just checked.	Current, not just the food it's what you got now, maybe you just got it or maybe it's one you've stuck with for a while but that isn't as important as the fact that it's yours.
