Every poll has been held by .WEBMarshmallow, Autumn '17 to Spring '18 as Head Manager and Autumn '18 to Present as Board Relations.
- Medal votes are what determine the medals, while the proportion of positive to negative votes is what determines whether a player continues to play or retires.
- A gold vote is worth 3 points, a silver vote is worth 2 point, a bronze vote is worth 1 point, a non-medal vote is worth 0 points and a remove vote is worth -1 point.
- If there is no bronze medal option then a gold vote is worth 2 points and a silver vote is worth 1 point.
- Players on a secondary poll that receive 50% support or higher earn a spot on the team and replace the least popular players on a primary poll.

- The polls remained open throughout the qualifiers and the additional votes that came in were counted and influenced some position changes before the babby proper.
- Despite Logo B earning more votes I decided to go with Logo A since I made Logo B but had a nice kit design in mind for Logo A, subsequently it won the best kit award so I think I made the right call.
- I actually don't remember exactly why I added The Grabbler last minute, perhaps it was to make sure Dodger Leigh would leave the team.

- From this point forward the option to abstain from voting for a particular player was added though any abstentions would be interpreted as extra votes for the manager to distribute as they see fit.
- Gondola was temporarily retired from the team due to /wsg/ competing in the same cup as Gondola's home team /int/.
- Scott Sterling was permanently retired because the management wanted to scale down the number of goalkeepers from three to two going forward.
- Markets of Britain was probably added to make sure Hard Knock Life would leave the team.
- Dustiness Ford Lalatina was kept in favour of the flavour of the month meme SmileSweetSisterSadisticSurpriseService purely because she had a blender model and the FotM meme didn't and realistically wouldn't ever have gotten one.

- From here on out it was decided that secondary polls would no longer be held as they don't nearly get as many results as the primary poll due to being buried halfway through the thread, they also add far to much time to an already long voting period. Instead new players would be handpicked by the manager and added to the primary poll to compete directly with the current members of the team, this would also allow people to vote in new players as medals as secondary polls never accounted for medal voting.

- In the old format only the amount of remove votes determine which players stay or go which is good because you get a nice raw percentage of how many people want a particular player to stay, the medal votes only determine a player's medal status if that wasn't obvious and cannot save a player with a high number of remove votes. Abstentions are their to get more people to finish the poll because I know people who might not want to finish a poll without the option to skip a question or two, also it allows the results to be more accurate since people aren't just dumping their abstention on a non-medal vote. In essence what determines a medal and what determines a player's stay on the team are completely separate and don't influence each other.
- With the Love-Hate format, it's pretty much a zero-sum game, one person's love vote cancels out another person's hate vote meaning a very controversial player and a very unassuming player with virtually nothing but neutral votes are ranked exactly the same and it's not really fair, also anyone wanting to abstain or want a player to stay on the team but not by any strong degree are both voting for the neutral option further obfuscating the information. Also a player in medal range could possibly lose their status because hate and dislike votes actually effect the medal status. Everything is just one homogeneous mass of useless and/or conflicting information. Perhaps one could separately look at hate and dislikes when determining who leaves the team and likes and loves for medal status, but then what is the point of a 1 to 5 voting system?
