Background:  /adv/ beat  /gif/ 4-0 in the 2012 4chan Autumn Babby Cup group stage, confirming their promotion and denying /gif/'s as well. /gif/ would later crush /adv/ 7-2 in the 2016 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers, but /adv/ would eventually qualify as well.

Background: Both teams' first two meetings ended in a 1-1 and 0-0 draws, in the 2012 4chan Autumn Babby Cup and 2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup.  /lit/ would be the first to win, with a 3-2 victory in the 2014 4chan Autumn Babby Cup group stage, before losing to  /adv/ 3-5 in the 2016 4chan Summer Cup group stage. Their most recent meeting was in the 2019 4chan Spring Babby Cup where /lit/ would again win 3-2.
