The 2014 4chan Summer Cup will be the twelfth official 4chan Cup tournament and the fourth iteration of the Summer Cup series. It will be played on dates yet to be confirmed in Summer 2014. The tournament will feature a mixture of teams that qualify from the 2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup, as well as the teams that manage to qualify for the knockout stage of the 2014 4chan Winter Cup.
This will be the debut Summer Cup for /an/, /asp/, /diy/, /e/, /gd/, /gif/, /hr/, /ic/, /lgbt/, /s4s/ and /wsg/.
Competitors
Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament, sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of advancing to the knockout stage of the 2014 4chan Winter Cup, and sixteen will qualify by means of advancing from the 2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup.

Draw
The groups will be drawn randomly, from four pots. Each group will contain one team from Pot 1, one team from Pot 2, one team from Pot 3 and one team from Pot 4, forming eight groups each with four teams.
Pot 1 is made up of the top 8 teams from the 2014 4chan Winter Cup (the winners in the Winter Cup Round of 16). Pot 2 is made up of the 9th-16th placed teams from the 2014 Winter Cup (the losers in the Winter Cup Round of 16). Pot 3 is made up of the top 8 teams from the 2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup. Pot 4 is made up of the 9th-16th placed teams from the 2014 Spring Babby Cup.
The draw will be held on the 5th of July.
