Revision as of 02:25, 22 March 2016
After a long unannounced (we're very sorry about that) discussion on potential rule changes for the 2016 4chan Spring Babby Cup at the official IRC channel, it is basically still a mess on what the 4CCC should decide on. To streamline all these ideas and testing there is this dedicated wiki page for it.
So if you think you know what you're doing, please add a new level 2 Heading on this page with a link to your own special page for your testing. You can add a small summary on this page for your proposals if you want.
- On your own testing page please describe what you think is currently broken and/or can be improved below the first header.
- Then add another header with the list of fixes/improvements, also please add what you think your fixes/improvements will achieve. Also add links to external patches you have used below this section.
- The third header will be a collection of test data, this can be a link to your test tournament, a spreadsheet with a lot of test data, or whatever you prefer, as long as it is clear what you have tried and done. Keep in mind that video evidence is a massive bonus.
- The fourth header will be used to draw conclusions from your rules, do your rule changes result in the scorelines, statistics and whatnot you expected.
- The last/fifth header will be used for comments from other people on your tests. Please try to keep the discussions civil.
Keep in mind that the more test data you have, it does not necessarily becomes better, so keep the quality of tests in mind. Running 2 different teams a 100 times with the same formation and tactics for both rulesets is not automatically better than 20 properly set up individual games. Also do keep in mind you (or someone else) will also have to test, so no proposals with no test data and just ideas. You can still add your own proposals before you have any test data though.
The deadline for this is not yet known. Any proposals that are not on this page will not be taken into consideration.

The next sections would be on your own page:
==What is broken==
- Everything is broken.
- AI sucks.
It's just bad now, /j/ didn't even win Winter.
==Proposed changes==
- Make everyone 99 stats.
If the AI is at max stats, everything should be fine, right?
==Test data==
(link to Google Spreadsheet with test data)
==Conclusions==
As one can see from the test data the scorelines have returned to normal.
==Comments==
