Theb Utt is a dark mirror of a meaningless bit of fluff called Theb Elt, in the model of a very unofficial title belt of mild shame.
Related: Theb Elt
Format
Theb Utt is at stake for any official 4CC cup match that the holder competes in. If the holder draws or loses, Theb Utt is retained. If the holder wins, Theb Utt is "awarded" to the team that lost to them (the challenger).
For the purpose of counting the number of games as a holder, Theb Utt is awarded/retained at the end of a match. So if Team B loses to holder Team A, Team B's first match as holder will be their next match, and their last match as holder will be their next win.
Theb Utt can be lost in extra time, but cannot be lost in benuldies (even if the holder advances). It is also not at stake in Friendlies or Wooden Spoon Matches.
In situations where Theb Utt holder fails to compete in the next cup they qualify for Theb Utt reverts to the most recent active holder retroactively to the next cup that active holder competed in after losing Theb Utt.
Match History
By placing last in the first 4chan Cup, /soc/ were the first team to "earn" Theb Utt. Their first recorded match as holders of Theb Utt was the opening tilt of the 2012 4chan Spring Babby Cup.
/lgbt/ failed to compete in the 2016 4chan Spring Babby Cup and Theb Utt reverted to /pol/ for the 2016 4chan Winter Cup.
