The 1.12 Memorial Cup is an invitational to try out some old-hat rules in a new game, hosted by carmastrikes !!SlaOZ6azSy+, in an attempt to make defending less terrible and goalkeeping less good. The rules for this cup are an homage to the rules from Summer '14, hence the title, but should hopefully achieve the desired results, and improve the flow of the game. Like the actual cup, this invitational will be played in PES 2015. The changes to the current rules are:

• 88 defensive prowess, speed, and ball winning on nonmedals
• A rating in 2 (TWO) positions for nonmedals
• Goalkeepers with all-70s, but with 66 Goalkeeping-specific stats (Goalkeeping, Saving, Body Balance, and Jump)
• Unlimited cards for all four medals, 5 cards max for nonmedals
