Despite having a large fanbase and being one of the founding teams of the 4Chan Cup, the city of /v/ has never had that much success in actually playing the game of association football. After earning themselves a quick exit from their first three Cups, /v/ was relegated to the Babby Cup. With the PESbro era over, many wondered if the team would ever claw its way out of the Babbys. But a Candidate (#2, to be specific) emerged with a slightly-changed roster and revitalized the depressed team. Even though /v/ met an unfortunate end in the second round due to Ultros spaghetti, they qualified for Winter. Then they did brety gud :DDD at winter, and finally they got fourth at '13 Summer in spite of height abuse, and the manager being busy during most of the knockouts.

Will /v/ triumph in the '14 Winter Cup? Will they ever win a Tsun-Derby match against /a/? Will Exec ever edit the wiki page to look actually up to date? You'll have to pre-order our game to find out!

Rivalries

/v/ vs /a/- Tsundere Bowl

/a/ and /v/ have a difficult relationship. Both are one of the oldest 4chan boards and while quite a few /a/ followers enjoy the vidya (especially JRPGs) and plenty of /v/irgins watch animu (even though they never admit it), wee/a/boos are frowned upon when spotted by /v/irgins. The devastating defeat in the last Autumn 2012 Friendlies only fueled the fire.

/v/ vs /vp/- Pokeyman Bowl

/v/ rightfully disowned his son, /vp/, at a young age. /vp/ have never really forgiven their parents and just want to beat them at every opportunity. While some say that /v/ had more games until they kicked out /vp/, a quick look into /vp/ shows how little of this is true.

/v/ vs /vg/- Vidya Derby

Since /vg/ is /v/'s little brother rivalry is bound to ensue, especially with several former /v/ players like Hat general or Shazbot now plays for /vg/. Shitposting with no video games vs circlejerking with some video games, who will come out on top?

/v/ vs /mlp/- FUCKING PONIES

While there is quite a lot of things /v/ hates, and most boards on 4chan despise ponies and everything associated with it, nothing compares to the burning hatred /v/ has for the little horsefucking scumbags. Should /v/ ever lose a game to /mlp/, their rage will turn 4chan into a scorched wasteland. Though secretly /v/ wants them to win, so they may be free from /v/.
