The 2016 4chan Fall Soccer Babby Cup 2016 4chan Autumn Babby Cup will be the twenty-first official 4chan Cup tournament and the fifth iteration of the Autumn Babby Cup series. It will be played on dates yet to be confirmed in Autumn 2016. The tournament will feature a mixture of teams that are relegated from the 2016 4chan Summer Cup, teams that failed to qualify from the 2016 4chan Spring Babby Cup, and teams from the 2016 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.

Due to their victory in the 2016 4chan Spring Babby Cup, /m/ will host this tournament.

Competitors

Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament; sixteen of the teams will qualify by means of relegation from the 2016 4chan Summer Cup, eight will qualify by failing to advance from the 2016 4chan Spring Babby Cup, and eight will qualify from the 2016 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.

This cup will be the Autumn Babby Cup debut of /his/*, /mu/, and /p/.

Pots (subject to change)

Teams are placed in four different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:

1. Finishing position of the 16 relegated teams from the 2016 4chan Summer Cup in that tournament.
2. Finishing position of the teams who finished third in their group stages from the 2016 4chan Spring Babby Cup in that tournament, as well as the teams who failed to submit an export for the 2016 4chan Summer Cup should they submit an export for this cup.
3. Finishing position of the top 8 teams who qualified from the 2016 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight relegated from Summer) are placed in Pot 1, the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all four pots contain eight teams.
