Dates for the 2023 4chan Summer Cup will be as follow:

Team List Finalized: July 14th, 23:59:59 UTC
Aesthetics Export Deadline: July 21st, 23:59:59 UTC
Tactical Export Deadline: July 22nd, 23:59:59 UTC
Draw: July 23rd
Group Stage: July 28-30, August 4-6
Knockouts: August 12-13

Reminder that the Team List Finalized date is when the list of teams participating in Summer will be determined and locked, the last day that any new managers or caretakers will be able to sign onto teams, and also the deadline for new valid POI to be submitted for teams required to do so.

Proof of Interest:
The following teams eligible to play in Summer do not currently have valid POI due to previous POI having expired:
 /a/,  /biz/,  /mu/,  /trv/,  /v/,  /vr/,  /vrpg/,  /vst/

The teams above must contact QD before the Team List Finalized deadline in order to provide valid POI acquired within the last six months to participate in Summer. Eligible teams not listed above have valid POI for Summer, and managers and caretakers for these teams may send more recent POI if desired but are not required to do so.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:  /mu/ currently still do not have a manager or caretaker. If the board does not find someone to take over the team and provide valid POI before the Team List Finalized deadline, they will be deemed ineligible to play in Summer and will be replaced by the 17th placing team from Spring,  /tg/.

Rules, Patch, Etc.:
Summer 2023 will continue to use the same ruleset and patch as Spring 2023, i.e. it will continue to use PES 2019 and the Ladies' Night v1.2 patch. A rule clarification has also been added that, during pre-match, starting players of the same position may swap places on the pitch as if substituting them in and out from the bench, but only if there is at least one player of the same position already on the bench.
