====Autumn 2012, Spring 2013====
Matches voided due to Dragongate. Not that there was much particularly interesting in any of them. /diy/'s sole win was 1-0 against a future quarterfinalist in Autumn 2012 and then they fucked up and made /mlp/ a thing. And just like all of /diy/'s other results from that time period, none of it has counted for years.
====Autumn 2013==== | |||
Did not qualify for Autumn 2013. The less said the better.
2014 | ====2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup====
/diy/ were quite the shockers of the cup, as they went from not qualifying in the last cup to being a THIRD PLACE TROPHY recipient. They managed to top their groups by defeating three of their four opponents in what was the first Megababby in cup history. They then went on to defeat /k/ and /vg/, but lost to /pol/, so they were sent to the third place match versus /tg/. They squeezed out a win in benuldies to capture their greatest result in a tournament.
2014 | ====2014 4chan Summer Cup====
After a hard-fought group stage in the 2014 4chan Summer Cup /diy/ progressed as the group runner-ups behind /x/. In the round of 16 /diy/ would fall in a heavy defeat to /u/, while their manager was at an undisclosed Eastern Ontario lake doing undisclosed things. But avoiding relegation from the first elite cup of their history can be considered a success, as /diy/ can now look forward to what the 2015 4chan Winter Cup will bring.
== | ====2015 4chan Winter Cup====
The 2015 4chan Winter Cup would bring nothing but sadness. Prior to the start of the cup the manager had announced it would be his last in charge of /diy/, citing lack of interest from the board. Things wouldn't get any better from there, as /diy/ would put on a dismal showing. The team failed to replicate past cups successes, and earned a 31st place finish. What does the future hold for /diy/? Only time can tell...
====2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup====
After qualifying for their first cup since Winter, /diy/ looked to make their way back into the elites. Their first match was against /sp/, and the game turned out to be the greatest in /diy/ history, as they handed them a 5-1 defeat, a record low for /sp/. /diy/ would go to barely beat /cgl/. The victory was short-lived, however, as rival /sci/ would destroy /diy/ 5-0. After a disappointing 0-2 loss to /hr/, they were to first team in cup history to win their first 2 matches, then not advance to the knockouts.
====2019 4chan Spring Babby Cup====
It had been too long since the /diy/ squad last had a proper project manager to take them to glory. Grown beyond restless, MacGyver along with the rest of the boys took it upon themselves to keep the workshop going. After a long hiatus, it seemed that the /diy/hards had not only not forgotten how to play divegrass, but they also had perfected the craft in peace and quiet. Despite going down to /out/ just like in the good 'ol days, /diy/ managed to top their group in the Qualifiers beating /gif/ and /o/ to earn a spot in the Babby. In the Babby the squad performed even more like a well oiled machinery going unbeaten in their group only to be held down in the round of 16 losing on benuldies to /i/, who went on to win the Babby.
====2019 4chan Summer Cup====
With the morale high after a great comeback from the hiatus /diy/ squad was ready to take the Elite cup all by themselves. The high energy allowed /diy/ to complete the comeback by topping their group unbeaten and staying Elite. The victory was shortlived however, as /diy/ went down yet again to the eventual cup champions, /cm/. Nevertheless, /diy/ went from their all time lowest ranking to their all time highest ranking under a year without a project manager.
====2020 4chan Winter Cup====
After staying Elite for the first time since 2014, a /diy/ still without a project manager got a group somewhat similar to their last; unfortunately, things did not go as hoped for the Winter Cup. A very early 1-0 lead against /f/ in a Summer rematch was quickly turned into a 1-2 loss, a 2-1 lead at halftime against fellow autopilot /k/ turned into a 2-2 draw, and /diy/ lost their final group stage match to /out/ sealing bottom of the group and relegation.
====2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup====
Back in the Spring Babby, /diy/ drew now-managed /k/, autopilot /bant/, and a /asp/ looking to promote for the first time ever. The matchup against /bant/ started well enough, with /diy/ taking an early lead, but they could not hold on and the end result was a disappointing 1-1 draw. Luckily, the next match was anything but, a total demolition of /k/ to the tune of 4-1, and with this /diy/ were all but secure in their promotion. Another 1-1 draw with /asp/ made totally sure, and as quickly as they were relegated /diy/ were back in Summer. Yet again, in the knockout stages, they lost to the future champions, in this case /d/ by the score of 2-3, despite holding a 1-0 lead late into the match.
====2020 4chan Summer Cup====
Not only were /diy/ back in the Elites, but they ended up finding a project manager for the first time since 2015. Naturally, they got ANOTHER rematch in the groups, this time with the same /d/ they lost to in the Babby knockouts, as well as Winter runner-up /vg/ and /f/ for the third Elite Cup in a row. While the previous two matchups against /f/ were somewhat close, this one was anything but; /diy/ immediately won 4-0 in their first match back. The rematch against /d/ went less well, a 2-1 loss this time, and so /diy/ went into the final weekend needing to win to safely advance. They did exactly that, in a very blue match, and with /f/ having beaten /d/ the match before they were top of the group.
Against /lit/, in the Round of 16, /diy/ were totally dominant, sealing the match late, getting help from a hilarious own goal to make the final score 3-1, and winning a knockout match for the first time since 2014. They then dispatched still-autopilot /cm/ in extra time by the same scoreline after the match went to extra time, and just like that they were at home in a slow board-filled semifinal. By the semifinals, of course, /diy/ had tired out, and /c/ took advantage as they easily defeated /diy/ 0-2. A massive rebound against /out/ in the third place match secured /diy/'s best ever performance, third place in an Elite Cup, and with this the team was eagerly looking forward to six months of work for the next Winter Cup.
====2021 4chan Winter Cup====
That next Winter Cup came quickly, and it was something to behold. For starters, /diy/'s group contained TWO rematches from the previous cup's group stage; they got to play /vg/ again along with /f/ on a bounce-back from the Babby /diy/ played a part in relegating them to and /an/, a team they hadn't ever played before, not even in the Dragonfag Era. Like the last of the roughly sixty nine thousand, four hundred and twenty times /diy/ has played /f/, the Winter 2021 edition wasn't particularly close; /diy/ won 3-1, and dominated enough that it could have been more. They carried some of that energy into the de-blued rematch with /vg/, but /vg/'s own attack was firing on all cylinders and handed /diy/ a 3-1 loss. Needing a win to totally secure advancement, /diy/ absolutely destroyed /an/ with four second-half goals in a resoundingly dominant performance that saw them top the group over the /vg/ they had previously lost to.
| Back in the Round of 16, again, /diy/ drew /o/, the defending Babby Cup Champions and one of only two teams ever to legitimately pull off a perfect cup run. /o/ scored a rather lucky goal early and then dominated most of the match, but two inexcusable late blunders saw MacGyver score twice in the final two minutes of the match to seal a second consecutive final day for /diy/. Which, of course, meant getting to play /cm/ again. A late first-half goal from Shipping Containers seemed to validate /diy/'s strategy of keeping the /cm/ attack at bay before /cm/'s attack finally took control of the match, ultimately winning through a 77th minute free kick. /diy/ were out, yet they could at least hold their heads high thanks to continuing an unprecedented run of success and staying at fourth in the post-cup rankings. Like every other team, they will be playing in a special mega-cup before resuming their normal cup cycle the next year with the 2022 4chan Winter Cup. | ||

| | |The Makers Bowl<br> | ||
Both of these boards love using technology to create grand things! Thats not the issue, the issue is <i>what</i> things they are making. As /diy/ believes that creations should impact the physical world, /g/ creates software which only affects the digital world. /diy/hards find this despicable, because if you spend so much of your time making something, and it doesnt even affect the "real" world, what's the point? The amount of time /g/entoomen waste on their non-proprietary software is laughable. Lets let /g/ call us when THEY build a house of shipping containers? Despite an obvious clash, these two teams <s>have met in an official tournament only once</s> never have have meet.
|Science vs. Engineering<br> | |||
An age old question that has been argued for years: Which is more useful, Science or Engineering? This derby plans to settle the debate once and for all with /sci/ and /diy/ facing each other for philanthropic dominance. The first time these two clubs met was during the 2013 Autumn Friendlies, in which coincidentally managers on both sides were Honduran. Both sides fought hard for 90 minutes but ultimately the result came out to a measly 1-1 draw, failing to end the argument and forcing fans of both sides to wait. The most recent came during the 2015 Winter Cup group stages. /sci/ and /diy/ sat 3rd and 4th in the group respectively going into their last group stage. Both sides needed a win to escape relegation and all eyes were fixed on what was to be an exciting match. /diy/ struck early, burying /sci/ by 2 goals by the 23rd minute. /sci/'s needed comeback came from an unlikely hero: A 77 CB by the name of Triple Integrals who'd only been added to the team during the offseason. His 2 goals along with goals by Feynman and Tesla gave /sci/ a 4-2 victory over the now relegated /diy/. But the /diy/hards were hungry to face them again in the 2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup, looking to even the record. They didn't.

Team History
Autumn 2012, Spring 2013
Matches voided due to Dragongate. Not that there was much particularly interesting in any of them. /diy/'s sole win was 1-0 against a future quarterfinalist in Autumn 2012 and then they fucked up and made /mlp/ a thing. And just like all of /diy/'s other results from that time period, none of it has counted for years.
Autumn 2013
Did not qualify for Autumn 2013. The less said the better.
2014 4chan Spring Babby Cup
/diy/ were quite the shockers of the cup, as they went from not qualifying in the last cup to being a THIRD PLACE TROPHY recipient. They managed to top their groups by defeating three of their four opponents in what was the first Megababby in cup history. They then went on to defeat /k/ and /vg/, but lost to /pol/, so they were sent to the third place match versus /tg/. They squeezed out a win in benuldies to capture their greatest result in a tournament.
2014 4chan Summer Cup
After a hard-fought group stage in the 2014 4chan Summer Cup /diy/ progressed as the group runner-ups behind /x/. In the round of 16 /diy/ would fall in a heavy defeat to /u/, while their manager was at an undisclosed Eastern Ontario lake doing undisclosed things. But avoiding relegation from the first elite cup of their history can be considered a success, as /diy/ can now look forward to what the 2015 4chan Winter Cup will bring.
2015 4chan Winter Cup
The 2015 4chan Winter Cup would bring nothing but sadness. Prior to the start of the cup the manager had announced it would be his last in charge of /diy/, citing lack of interest from the board. Things wouldn't get any better from there, as /diy/ would put on a dismal showing. The team failed to replicate past cups successes, and earned a 31st place finish. What does the future hold for /diy/? Only time can tell...
2015 4chan Autumn Babby Cup
After qualifying for their first cup since Winter, /diy/ looked to make their way back into the elites. Their first match was against /sp/, and the game turned out to be the greatest in /diy/ history, as they handed them a 5-1 defeat, a record low for /sp/. /diy/ would go to barely beat /cgl/. The victory was short-lived, however, as rival /sci/ would destroy /diy/ 5-0. After a disappointing 0-2 loss to /hr/, they were to first team in cup history to win their first 2 matches, then not advance to the knockouts.
2019 4chan Spring Babby Cup
2019 4chan Summer Cup
With the morale high after a great comeback from the hiatus /diy/ squad was ready to take the Elite cup all by themselves. The high energy allowed /diy/ to complete the comeback by topping their group unbeaten and staying Elite. The victory was shortlived however, as /diy/ went down yet again to the eventual cup champions, /cm/. Nevertheless, /diy/ went from their all time lowest ranking to their all time highest ranking under a year without a project manager.
2020 4chan Winter Cup
After staying Elite for the first time since 2014, a /diy/ still without a project manager got a group somewhat similar to their last; unfortunately, things did not go as hoped for the Winter Cup. A very early 1-0 lead against /f/ in a Summer rematch was quickly turned into a 1-2 loss, a 2-1 lead at halftime against fellow autopilot /k/ turned into a 2-2 draw, and /diy/ lost their final group stage match to /out/ sealing bottom of the group and relegation.
2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup
2020 4chan Summer Cup
2021 4chan Winter Cup

Rivalries
The Makers Bowl Both of these boards love using technology to create grand things! Thats not the issue, the issue is what things they are making. Despite an obvious clash, these two teams |
Science vs. Engineering An age old question that has been argued for years: Which is more useful, Science or Engineering? |
