Team /vp/, created on Jan 6th 2012 rose to fame after coming 20th in the 2012 Babby cup, with just 1 point, and a -5 goal difference. A brand new revamp of the team with new tactics and players could be /vp/s max revive for the fall babby cup 2012. With old talent such as Miror B and Ngr Wnr Furthremore joining up with new talent Ass Man Ash and Charles, /vp/ are looking for gold..

/vp/ vs /a/ - The Pokemon Derby
If it was shown on TV in the US, /a/ hates it, thus leading to an instant feud between /a/ and /vp/. The rivalry was worsened when /vp/ beat /a/ 3-1.../a/ didn't even score once (fuck you, MissingNo). Recently /a/ has tied the series with a 3-0 win avenging the previous battle.
/vp/ vs /v/ - The Vidya Derby
/vp/'s dad disowned it at a young age. /vp/ have never really forgiven their parents and just want to beat them at every opportunity. Sometimes /v/ had games until it kicked out /vp/, and now look what happened.
/vp/ vs /m/ - The Babby Derby
/m/ and /vp/ were the original two members of the babby cup, all the way back in January 2012. There has been a fierce rivalry between the two building up to the babby cup between these two legends, and should they meet some day.. well, let's just hope we're not crushed like a Caterpie.
Cancer Derby - /vp/ vs. /mlp/
Despite having never actually played against each other, the two boards are known to be cancer containment boards; boards created for a topic solely because it overwhelmed their original boards (/v/ and /co/ respectively). Combined with /mlp/'s loathing of pokemon and /vp/'s loathing of ponies, the elements combined to create a bitter rivalry.

A hyped up /vp/, the first of the Spring Babbies faced off with an /a/ side trying to recover from a disaster of a winter cup run. What was meant to be the rebirth of /a/ turned into an absolute domination by /vp/, restricting /a/ to a single off target shot all game, and the only /a/ goal coming from an own goal from /vp/s loose cannon defender, Missingo.

With tactics finally updated, /vp/ took on the mighty /d/, 4th place in the babby cup, but with golden boot holder haigure scoreless in two games, /vp/ preyed on a poorly assembled /d/ defence and /vp/ star man Nigger Winner Furthremore scored goal after goal after goal in what is /vp/'s biggest win to date.

/vp/ running off the buzz of /vp/ vs /d/ had no mercy on /an/ with three early goals in rapid succession followed by two more, /an/ could only sit and watch as the teams defence was torn apart. Two late goals from /an/ were mere consolations after the pure domination that was this game. With NWF scoring four, he managed to amass a record total of 8 goals in two games, something that has never been equalled nor surpassed to this day.

With a win by two goals required to overtake /cgl/ on goal difference and put them out, and Miror B striking for an early lead, it looked as if the dream really was alive for /vp/. Unfortunately a disaster second half lead to /vp/s 1-0 lead turning into 1-4 deficit and in a nightmare finish /vp/ came dead last in the babby cup with the worst goal difference and is to date the third worst babby cup performance of 52 teams in two competitions.

A game that started slow with the mighty Team Rocket motto being the only thing to create any sort of entertainment in the first half (Prepare for trouble, check my doubles! To protect the world from /a/ and /b/, to get real mad and post on /v/!) could only be saved towards the end as two /ic/ goals in rapid succession and a bicycle kick from the ironically named No Moves sprung the game to life, but it was too little too late for /vp/ as they suffered a second successive loss.

/po/ took an early lead against a /vp/ side that had been forced to adapt with tactics not their own after Gallow had sabotaged the team and given /vp/ some shitty 3-5-2 with no defence and piss poor offence. With being in such a weak group the only thing to save /vp/, it was down to THE MIGHTY >PRESTON to save the day for /vp/. Unfortunately, despite dominating the game with six times as many shots on goal as /po/, /vp/ could not get past the /po/ keeper until the 81st minute when it was too late to grab a vital win.

Although they took the initiative with an early goal from Nigger Winner Furthremore, /fa/ then took control and goals from Hitler Youth and Young Stalin earned them the vital points. /fa/'s manager would make later a comment on /vp/'s chances that would end up obliterating the sides of the viewers and the commentators.

After playing a tough, drag-out match for the first half, /wg/'s defense collapsed all of a sudden as /vp/ rocketed 4 goals past their keeper. Claims that /wg/'s manager rigged the match by benching several of his starters were dismissed by the 4CCC, but a spokesperson said, "You gotta admit, whether or not he intended the final result, that was one hell of a troll." /fa/ would end up resting their players as well since their manager had gone on a "date" with a "woman" before /wg/'s manager decided to rest his starting players, and would lose to /po/, resulting in their elimination. Though it came from a rather fortunate chain of events, /vp/ qualified for the 2013 Winter Cup.

Though the team certainly tried their best against one of the tournament's favorites, /vp/ was unable to do much against /tv/'s power of MONEY MONEY MONEY. Nevertheless, /vp/ met expectations and the fans were pleased with the team's qualification to the 2013 Winter Cup. /vp/ would also end up being the only team that defeated the eventual champions, /wg/.
