The 2020 4chan Autumn Babby Cup will be the thirty-seventh official 4chan Cup tournament and the ninth iteration of the Autumn Babby Cup series. The tournament will feature a mixture of teams that are relegated from the 2020 4chan Summer Cup, teams that failed to advance from the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup, and teams from the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers.

Having won the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup, /d/ will host this tournament.

Thirty-two teams will compete at this tournament; sixteen of the teams qualified by means of relegation from the 2020 4chan Summer Cup, seven qualified by failing to advance from the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup, four were granted a bye due to failing to advance from the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers, and four will qualify by advancing from the 2020 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.

The draw will be held on October 18th, 2020. The hat prediction to win the cup is TBD. Teams will placed in four different pots based on seeding. Seeding is determined by:

1. The finishing position of the 16 teams relegated from the 2020 4chan Summer Cup in that tournament.
2. The finishing position of the teams who failed to qualify from the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup group stages.
3. The finishing position of the teams who advance from the 2020 4chan Autumn Babby Cup Qualifiers.
4. The finishing positions of the remaining teams who failed to advance from the 2020 4chan Spring Babby Cup Qualifiers.

All of the highest-seeded competitors (the top eight relegated from Winter) are placed in Pot 1; the next-highest in Pot 2, and so on until all pots contain eight teams each.
