Team History
Making debut at the World Cup /vrpg/ started at level one, competing to make the best expression as possible facing veteran teams with lots of experience at their hand and did not disappoint. One draw, one loss and one win with Dagoth as their spearhead landed a respectable 34th place, close to the knockouts.
After grinding some world cup games, /vrpg/ finally achieved their basic skills, giving the ball to Dagoth Ur who brilliantly finished goals to deliver deliver the death blow to unprepared teams...
Sadly Autumn did not end as /vrpg/ wanted, and after getting bad rolls together with Rean still holding back, qualification to elite was nowhere to be seen. However, there is a bright future ahead for /vrpg/ and after some grinding sessions the team will be back to challenge the elites of 4CC once again after taking the babbie challenge in Spring.
The Power of Grinding
Even as Babbies was a cursed run for the grinding /vrpg/ team captained by Rean, his time as a captain would end after a horrible spring performance, and as spring went by and another autumn qualifier began the hero of /vrpg/ Dagoth Ur took over as the captain. With a cursed history, a couple of new members and multitude levels of alchemy to speedrun the fetus the gang finally did it. All it took was 3 matches, lots of potions and truly amazing god, to secure the spot in the autumn babbies cup. Will Dagoth Ur and the gang contain their winning spree? Time will decide, and now the true challange begins.
The babbies would not be a piece of cake for /vrpg/ as Dagoth and his men had to face the might of the witcher adapation, their old /v/alkan lad /vst/ and a reading of the lusty argonian by /lit/. The team practiced, grinded even more and when the group stage was at hand, Dagoth and his follower delivered. It was a close fight vs /vst/, with nukes dropping from the sky and as the end came by, vrpg stood strong, carried by the willpower of a tiny Terriermon and the might of Dagoth Ur. With motivation and willpower, /vrpg/ asserted dominance vs /lit/ and dominated /tv/ in a fashion 4CC was suprised about. Surely 9 points in a group would not give in to a curse that would fell this surge, Dagoth was too strong... However versus the cute anime girls of /c/ it happened, and the traitor showed himself in the face of Marche. After leading 1-0 for a long time, Marche showed his true self and scored an own goal vs /vrpg/ and ended the day in a tragedy, as Dagoth and his men went home with 9 points and a curse in their hand.
Will /v/inter show mercy? Or will the curse continue, noone knows and 2023 will show a new year of /vrpg/s.
