Honestly, this is here to fix the results page.

/dg/ is a place of eternal complainers and traps because Bungie sure knows how to win players over with their game

/dg/ the team was the created solely as an unofficial test squad with aspirations for the /vg/ League. Their first appearances being in the Tuesday Night Rigging Circuit where they started with 20 goals across 3 games, including a 9-1 drubbing of /scrap/, the worst team across all cups. When TNR closed its doors, /dg/ finished with a 4-1-2 record filled with a couple of 7 goal losses.

The team's first real test came in the second /ag/ League, matched up with /DG/, /mtg/, and /bird/. /dg/ escaped groups with a 2-1 record on the last day, including winning the dg-off with /DG/. Their knockout campaign was short lived as they collapsed in the Round of 32 against /vg/ League member /agdg/.

Following their exit from the /ag/ League, /dg/ tried to enter the /vg/ League as a new squad for /vg/ League 9, but due to the release of Destiny 2, the general was far more interested in blowing through the new game than drumming up support for the team and thus, did not qualify.

Following this, /dg/ geared up for the Omegacup but were immediately ousted by another /vg/ League team in /aceg/.

/dg/ attempted another chance to enter the /vg/ League for the 10th edition but the general died because surprise! Destiny 2 was a piece of shit all along! Since that, the threads have returned once they fucking put some content in.

/dg/'s lone appearance in 2018 came at the /ag/ League 3 where on the back of new medal Cayde-7, won close games against /mgr/ and /eb/ before it was discovered that Chadlock was using a infinite super glitch to keep pace with the titans (>Warlocks). With his loop finally patched by Bungie, /dg/ made a statement by destroying /cbg/ 6-0 to top their group. The knockouts proved to be their bane once again as they were immediately bounced by /tgt/ in the Round of 32.

/dg/ returned for 2019 for /ag/ League 4 where some Vex gate shenanigans caused a previous iteration of the team to appear every now and then. Past /dg/ inked out a close win over /rgg/ while the actual team won handily over /eb/ and /fallout/. Before their round of sixteen match, the Vex gate ended up going haywire and erased said timeline.

After a year off, the team returned to the /ag/ League for it's 5th iteration. Things did not look good as /dg/ was blanked by /dinergate/ in the opening the first group stage game 1-0. However, newcomer Orb Bad, Triangle Good, finally got the team going by netting a hat trick and keeping /dg/ alive against /100oj/ 4-3. Things looked dire in the final game against /dangeru/ but it was Post Guardians who sank a header in the dying minutes of the game to give them the win and to top the group over /100oj/ with the head-to-head.

In the knockouts, /dg/ finally snapped their losing ways in the Round of 32 by blanking /ll/ 2-0. Fueled by this, Titans scored a hat trick and helped make a statement win over /bw/ 6-3. However, the run ended in the quarterfinals where /100oj/ learned from their mistakes and won handily, 5-2 en route to winning the tournament outright.
