2014 4chan Summer Cup Friendlies Aesthetics notes

• The rules regarding aesthetics obviously apply for this event as well.
• Please post a separate team export and aesthetic export on your team page. If you do not have an (updated) aesthetic export on your team page easily visible before the first deadline, I assume you have no new aesthetics. So please notify me, with me confirming/agreeing, before the first deadline if you can't make the first deadline. You can message me on Skype, mail me or post on my talk page.
• If you have other stuff that are not files (such as but not limited to new team colours, kit sorting, deleting files or whatnot), please post this all in a textfile in your aesthetic export.
• General cup aesthetics (so not team-specific) should also be sent to me.
• Keep in mind that the referring to managers (names) as least as possible applies to aesthetics as well (just like the stream commentary).

Notes for self for the actual Summer Cup

• Start enforcing entire kit folders, not just the kit.png
• Tell Boris to fix the /mlp/ kit folders.

World Cup 2014 Football Pool

Predict the results and teams for each group and all next rounds, get points and win prizes! I am not going to explain what a football pool is to you.

How to enter

For my own sake, only managers of cup teams can enter with only one entry per team. As for now, the max amount of teams that can enter is 24. I'll allow some special people to enter this pool on top of that, but they'll not play for the prizes.
If you want to enter, contact me soon and I'll send you a Google Spreadsheet to fill in. Signups have not started yet.

How to play

For each game, stage and more of the game you'll fill in what you think the result will be, for each correct result you'll get points and the one with the most points wins.

• Toto is a Dutch word for a certain kind of football gambling.
• You can fill in a different toto than the normal result each game, so you have 2 opportunities each game to win points.
• If you have to enter a country name somewhere, please just copy the name of the country from the group stages, an incorrect spelling will result in no points.

Groups

1. Normal result

For each group match fill in the result after the normal game time of 90 minutes.
The amount of points you can win is as following:

• Correct final result: 7 points
• Incorrect final result but the goal tally of one team is correct: 2 points

2. Toto

For each group match fill in the Toto after the normal game time of 90 minutes.

• Fill in a 1 if the home team wins
• Fill in a 2 if the away team wins
• Fill in a 3 if it is a draw

A correct toto will give you 3 points.

3. Example

Brazil - Croatia ends in a 1-2. You filled in 1-0 and a 2 for the toto. The result is incorrect, but the goals for one team is correct, this gives you 2 points. The toto is also correct, as Croatia won as away team, this will give you another 3 points. So you'll get 5 points for this game.

4. Final group standings

Fill in the final group standings for each group, only the teams, no goal amounts or whatsoever. A team at the correct position will give you 4 points, if all 4 teams are correct, you'll get 4 bonus points for a total of 20 points.
This is also separate from the toto and normal results. Brazil can win all games in the toto and normal results according to you, but still end last in the group stages.

Knockouts

1. General

For all matches in the knockouts, fill in the goal results AFTER THE NORMAL GAMETIME OF 90 MINUTES, NOT THE EXTRA TIME OF 120 MINUTES. For the toto however fill in the result AFTER THE EXTRA TIME OF 120 MINUTES (AND PENALTIES), you only have to enter a 1 if the home team wins and a 2 if the away team wins.
