Unorganised history

/soc/ took part in the the very first Summer Cup in 2011. But a poor performance saw them making an early exit without scoring a single goal. Being too hooked up in comparing each others dicks and trying desperatly to create a giant orgy that never happened, most of their chubby supporters have yet to notice that not only did they fuck up the first cup, their rating was so poor that they were not invited back to the 2012 Winter Cup.

A small vocal group of /soc/ supporters led to the team being invited to take part in the 2012 4chan Babby Cup. They finished dead last in their group, which lead to around the Summer Cup calls for a renewal in the team. They took part in the Autumn Babby Cup and produced a string of famous games, including a comeback from 3-1 vs /gif/ to win 5-3, a win vs /v/ with an incredible fuckup of the /v/ goalkeeper, and a match vs /vg/ that was lauded as one of the greatest games in Cup history, that sadly finished in a 6-4 loss.

/soc/'s Winter Cup campaign was short lived. The team started strong with a two goal lead over /toy/ before their lardasses ran out of energy and slumped to a 2-5 comeback defeat. A /h/ team that failed to show up to the game lost 7-0 to the circlejerking elite but the Übermensch of /pol/ swiftly ended their cup dreams with a 2-0 defeat on the third day. On the bright side, /toy/ and /pol/ came second and third respectively.

/soc/ then had their shining moment as of yet in the following Spring Babby Cup. After achieving a record 7 wins in a row, they finally lost in the semi-finals to a cruel injury time /tv/ goal. They still got third place with a comeback in ET vs /x/, and Feet, Vocaroo and Timestamp were given the Golden Boot, Ball and Glove, respectively.

/soc/ were then qualified for the following Summer Cup, and they qualified out of their group tied on points with the eventual champions /wg/. Then they were eliminated by /int/ in the RO16, with the consolation prize of being the only team that got points off the champions.

/soc/'s run in the 2014 Winter Cup was rocky. Losing to /an/ in a match where they just didn't seem to string a good attack, they then were trolled to death by /b/ after initially getting the lead. However due to the group standings /soc/ could still progress if they beat /hr/ by enough, and if /b/ lost to /an/. Feet proceeded to score 4 past /hr/, in a game that ended 4-2, and a late /an/ goal sealed the deal. Then they fell at the hands of the eventual champions, /trv/.

Longtime /soc/ manager Sexcopter then announced that the 2014 Summer Cup would be his last one and recruited a green, longtime /soc/ lurker to learn the ropes as assistant manager and help lead /soc/ to Summer Cup glory. Unfortunately they came across /s4s/'s Cory Baxter who was in the house with brought with him two goals in a 4-2 victory. /soc/ then regrouped together for a pivotal game against a red-hot /asp/ side coming off a great Spring Babby Cup performance and recently: a 2-1 victory against /pol/. It was in this game that /soc/'s Permalurker sobered up enough in the 2nd half to put /soc/ in the lead, followed up by a great steal, and crazy angle goal from Lain Iwakura to finish up a 2-0 victory placing them 2nd in the group. There was much partying.

This now led to a final group match game against a /pol/ side that needed to win to have any change of progressing. The game was an evenly matched encounter, but /soc/ survived with a 0-0 draw, and eliminated /pol/. However, with a draw /soc/ needed an /asp/ draw or loss to advance, unfortunately /asp/ overcame the odds in heartbreaking fashion with two late goals in the final ten minutes of the game to defeat /s4s/ 2-1. Though /soc/ was relegated, it can take solace in the fact that it took with them the defending babby cup champion, and that being relegated required an incredible, clutch performance. The torch was passed on to new management initiated by fire; the team looked forward to the 2014 Autumn Babby Cup for a chance of redemption and to get back to the Elite Cup.

Autumn marked /soc/'s worst performance since the 2012 4chan Spring Babby Cup; despite a 2-0 win over /lgbt/, previous losses, 4-2 to /sci/ and 2-1 /o/, combined with a 4-2 loss to a /m/ that actually got gud, doomed the team to a 1-0-3 record as they finished last in their group and failed to make an Elite Cup for the first time since 2012. Despite their manager missing the signups for the 2015 4chan Spring Babby Cup, /soc/ still played as a managerless team and found some success by qualifying to the 2015 4chan Summer Cup, but not without some embarrassment as the team got blown the fuck out by /o/ 6-0.
