2011

/soc/ took part in the the very first Summer Cup in 2011. But a poor performance saw them making an early exit without scoring a single goal. Being too hooked up in comparing each others dicks and trying desperatly to create a giant orgy that never happened, most of their chubby supporters have yet to notice that not only did they fuck up the first cup, their rating was so poor that they were not invited back to the 2012 Winter Cup.

2012

A small vocal group of /soc/ supporters led to the team being invited to take part in the 2012 4chan Babby Cup. They finished dead last in their group, which lead to around the Summer Cup calls for a renewal in the team. They took part in the Autumn Babby Cup and produced a string of famous games, including a comeback from 3-1 vs /gif/ to win 5-3, a win vs /v/ with an incredible fuckup of the /v/ goalkeeper, and a match vs /vg/ that was lauded as one of the greatest games in Cup history, that sadly finished in a 6-4 loss.

2013

/soc/'s Winter Cup campaign was short lived. The team started strong with a two goal lead over /toy/ before their lardasses ran out of energy and slumped to a 2-5 comeback defeat. A /h/ team that failed to show up to the game lost 7-0 to the circlejerking elite but the Übermensch of /pol/ swiftly ended their cup dreams with a 2-0 defeat on the third day. On the bright side, /toy/ and /pol/ came second and third respectively.

/soc/ then had their shining moment as of yet in the following Spring Babby Cup. After achieving a record 7 wins in a row, they finally lost in the semi-finals to a cruel injury time /tv/ goal. They still got third place with a comeback in ET vs /x/, and Feet, Vocaroo and Timestamp were given the Golden Boot, Ball and Glove, respectively.

/soc/ were then qualified for the following Summer Cup, and they qualified out of their group tied on points with the eventual champions /wg/. Then they were eliminated by /int/ in the RO16, with the consolation prize of being the only team that got points off the champions.

2014

/soc/'s run in the 2014 Winter Cup was rocky. Losing to /an/ in a match where they just didn't seem to string a good attack, they then were trolled to death by /b/ after initially getting the lead. However due to the group standings /soc/ could still progress if they beat /hr/ by enough, and if /b/ lost to /an/. Feet proceeded to score 4 past /hr/, in a game that ended 4-2, and a late /an/ goal sealed the deal. Then they fell at the hands of the eventual champions, /trv/.

Longtime /soc/ manager Sexcopter then announced that the 2014 Summer Cup would be his last one and recruited a green, longtime /soc/ lurker to learn the ropes as assistant manager and help lead /soc/ to Summer Cup glory. Unfortunately they came across /s4s/'s Cory Baxter who was in the house with brought with him two goals in a 4-2 victory. /soc/ then regrouped together for a pivotal game against a red-hot /asp/ side coming off a great Spring Babby Cup performance and recently: a 2-1 victory against /pol/. It was in this game that /soc/'s Permalurker sobered up enough in the 2nd half to put /soc/ in the lead, followed up by a great steal, and crazy angle goal from Lain Iwakura to finish up a 2-0 victory placing them 2nd in the group. There was much partying.

This now led to a final group match game against a /pol/ side that needed to win to have any change of progressing. The game was an evenly matched encounter, but /soc/ survived with a 0-0 draw, and eliminated /pol/. However, with a draw /soc/ needed an /asp/ draw or loss to advance, unfortunately /asp/ overcame the odds in heartbreaking fashion with two late goals in the final ten minutes of the game to defeat /s4s/ 2-1. Though /soc/ was relegated, it can take solace in the fact that it took with them the defending babby cup champion, and that being relegated required an incredible, clutch performance. The torch was passed on to new management initiated by fire; the team looked forward to the 2014 Autumn Babby Cup for a chance of redemption and to get back to the Elite Cup.

Autumn marked /soc/'s worst performance since the 2012 4chan Spring Babby Cup; despite a 2-0 win over /lgbt/, previous losses, 4-2 to /sci/ and 2-1 /o/, combined with a 4-2 loss to a /m/ that actually got gud, doomed the team to a 1-0-3 record as they finished last in their group and failed to make an Elite Cup for the first time since 2012.

2015

Despite their manager missing the signups for the 2015 4chan Spring Babby Cup, /soc/ still played as a managerless team and found some success by qualifying to the 2015 4chan Summer Cup, but not without some embarrassment as the team got blown the fuck out by /o/ 6-0.

Summer saw /soc/ make the knockouts thanks to two massive performances in the first day of their group (one by themselves, 4-1 over /toy/, and another by /s/, 4-0 over /n/,), enough to weather a 2-1 loss to /n/ and a 1-1 draw to /s/. Despite coming back from 2-0 down to force extra time, /soc/ lost their knockout stage match 4-2 to defending Spring Babby champions /tv/.

2016

At the end of the day, despite massive goal differences, /soc/ barely qualified for the Winter Cup and their performance showed it. Needing a solitary goal at 89' (in PES16 no less) to beat /k/ (who would eventually finish goalless and lose 6-0) and blowing a halftime lead to /asp/ (losing 2-1 on a stoppage time goal), /soc/'s Winter Cup was put to a merciful end by the eventual champion /fit/, with a 3-0 shellacking sending /soc/ down.

For /soc/, the following Spring Babby Cup brought back memories of their run three years before. A 3-1 win over /e/ set the tone, before a 2-1 win over /k/ and a 3-2 win over /i/ allowed /soc/ to enter the knockouts as the 9 point master race. Amazingly, both their knockout matches went to benuldies; the first set (against /wg/) went their way after a 4-4 match, and the second (against the eventual Spring winners /m/, who topped /wg/'s group) went /m/'s way after they came back from 3-1 down in regular time.

Amazingly, /soc/ wrecked their second group stage in a row in the Summer Cup, beating /gd/ 2-1, /trv/ 6-3, and /wsg/ 3-2 to easily stay 9 point master race. Like in Spring, that didn't allow them to win the cup, as a 3-2 Round of 16 loss to at-the-time Elitesterisk /asp/ ensured they would be in the next Elite and nothing more.

2017

/soc/ didn't enjoy a great start to the new year, losing to /sp/ 2-1 with the only consolation being a late Rate My Cock goal. Against previous Elite runners-up /o/, /soc/ got a 2-1 win despite being totally dominated the entire match; PES took away their luck by way of a 1-1 draw with /vr/. And then it continued to do so for the rest of the year.

Spring started well for /soc/ as they led 2-0 by the 40th minute of their first match and held on to win despite /lit/ furiously coming back. Then it went to shit. /o/ got the first goal against them and kept a 1-1 draw, before /trv/ scored twice in the span of 3 minutes and kept /soc/ out of the Spring knockouts and out of Summer. Just to ensure that status, a playoff was held against /o/, where /o/ again drew first blood and won in extra time despite being reduced to ten men. This technically relegated /soc/ to the fetus in a 4-4-4-4 group, ensuring that despite their placement of 21st they would not qualify for Summer even as a replacement team and /o/ would instead, a result of a mass culling of teams like /t/ and /out/ that occupied after Spring. Despite arguments that /soc/ should have been part of the cull, they weren't touched, and although one of their managers retired before the Autumn Babby, /soc/ had had multiple managers since 2016 to keep them alive.

Like Spring, Autumn started off well for /soc/, as a 16th minute Vocaroo goal was enough to secure a 1-0 win and years-late revenge over /vg/. /soc/ scored double that amount by the same minute in their next match, but sandwiched between those goals was one of familiar foe /k/'s and they put another one in near the death to keep /soc/ from promoting early. /soc/ were still relatively safe, but /co/ destroyed that safety by going up 4-0 before 30 minutes had passed and handing /soc/ an embarrassing 6-1 defeat. /k/ scored two against /vg/ in the next match, and despite /vg/'s best efforts to come back, they never scored their second, allowing /k/ to begin redeeming themselves after five long years and keeping /soc/ in purgatory.

2018

/soc/ started the year by missing the preliminary deadline for Spring; amid suspicion of their managers being absent for weeks since Autumn, both were immediately suspended from their posts while someone else made them an export to run on autopilot. /soc/'s Spring run started terribly, with a 4-0 loss to cup hosts and rivals /r9k/, before they took cues from /mlp/ the cup before and started winning. Four straight times, through the group stage (2-1 over /f/, 4-2 over /3/, 3-0 over /out/; these wins made /soc/ the first team to advance from group stages and gave them top of the group) and Round of 16 (3-1 over /bant/). A benuldy shootout with fellow autopilot memesters /t/ after a 2-2 result through 120 minutes nearly saw them eliminated, but /soc/ won the benuldies and were quickly back to winning, taking the semifinal matchup against /fit/ 4-3. The final looked to be going /soc/'s way for just over a half, as they scored first and cancelled out an /e/ equalizer all of 6 minutes into the second half. Then /soc/ conceded another equalizer within two minutes of their second goal. It all fell apart from there; not only did /soc/ lose the final, 4-2, but like a certain other former Babby runner up, got disqualified from the elite cup they promoted to.
